I must admit, that it doesn't touch me at all. For me it is Sonata with TK voice, even TK for me remind a bit Tony (maybe cause i'm sick). And I simply don't like Sonata, it's too boring. These songs are for me without music ideas, maybe to put in a background. But fine, let's wait for whole CD. More than friends is the best one, and th queen of winter the worst for me.

Of course, all is IMO :)

It's funny, because yesterday was the release of Elias Viljanen CD, the new Sonata gitarist, with Kakko, Hietala, Jari :), Klingenberg and Mikko Siren from Apo.

I think it's a weird project, but I have to listen.

I'd say Jani is an excellent composer with these songs, and Timo's vocal performance also sounds purer, wider, and gentle(esp. in More than Friends) without many high pitches, which is very different from those in Strato and Kotipelto——is it another face of Timo? And shall we expect him singing Hip-Hop next time? 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

It's a freshness. Just like Polaris (especially Deep Unknown), Avantasia part I and II, Masterplan, Helloween in Grapow era, Gamma in Powerplant and NWO.
From the quite new CD's: Nostradamus, Tinnitus is fresh (but not in my taste).
Of course whole Elvenking :)
I've put some examples.
When I don't have to think where and when i had listen to this. Of course it's hard, but it is still possible.

Just like, musical ideas had Queen in 60s and 70s i, Jackson, in 80s([*]) and Nirvana in 90s. (from mainstream)

Maybe it's hard to define, but I hope you understand

Hinata:I didn't mean what I said in a negative fashion, what I meant was that the combined sound simply reminded me of that and I really like it.

Pretty cool music but awful production. Sounds very cheap :D I hope these are just some demos and not from the actual album.

Instead of 4 two-minute samples, I'd prefer if they only posted at least one full song.

I say the more the better. You can't really judge on only 1 songs so I think it was a good Idea to post more than one song.

I think that two minutes samples are good. How much we got samples of Polaris? 30 seconds!

I love Cain's Offering! :music:

I have to agree, I like the fact that we at least get two minutes as opposed to thirty seconds.

I like the 1 minute of every song sample type. ideal would just be the full album but then we don't have samples now do we?

I wan't full songs.
I can't judge any of these songs until I have heard it completely.

So far this thing is growing on me but that style of power metal juts can't stand against Polaris.

Timo does well but still lyrics are killing me.
I just can't tell how much they bother me.

Yet some instrumental parts asre fine.

Performance is really good Composing ok lyrics bad.
