I remain neutral to this discussion.
They both share my Nr 1 favorite vocalist and their voices are in my opinion very different. As is the way of singing.
Live I don't know really as I don't have much to compare with other than concert DVDs and clips.

Celine Dion is a better singer than both, who is going to vouch for that one though?

I am not surprised.
Our keyboard player found the final master of our first album on torrents before we'd even recieved the promo copies from the label

I know this will most likely get contested but I believe that Kotipelto hasn't ever done a bad album.

Well, the first review is out and you can find it in the official Cains Offerring web site.
88 of 100, and the interesting part is that the reviewer said the strongest part of the album is Kotipelto's voice
.
Overall the review is quite positive, actually he didnt pointed anyting negative.

You don't have to be a musician to be a music critic. You also don't have to be a writer to be book critic. You also don't have to make a movie to be movie critic.

Yes... I downloaded it, but I don't feel bad about it, because it made me decide to buy it, which I wouldn't have probably done based on those small clips.
It's very traditional power metal and manages to use old formulas to create something really enjoyable. I also really liked the heavier drumming (Oceans Of Regret in particular) that's not too typical for the genre.

Ok, I gave a bad example there. I guess I have just read too many reviews where people that have no clue about why they call it bad or measure so subjectively that their review only serves them and does not tell anyone else anything about the attributes of the music. I’m sure there are reviews that actually take quantifiable comparisons in historic ways but in metal I don’t find as many of them.

Great band and amazing music, but I can't see how this band can grow really big and tour a lot with this line-up. I mean, most of the members are already in some rather big bands. Kotipelto (Stratovarius and solo) and Koskinen (Norther and Wintersun) to mention two of them, and I'm guessing CO isn't the first priority to any of them.
We don’t necessarily discriminate.
We simply exclude certain types of people.

What time off? Kotipelto will be touring until 2010 and Jens already said that if he could he wants to release the next album next year.

I mean during the days when the other members aren't working with their other bands.
members do get days off even while touring
