Infinite Visions DVD

Post by Irinia » Tue Jul 21, 2009 10:15 am

I have found myself in the need of a new Infinite Visions DVD as my kid broke the other one :o  :x :(
And I ordered it from CDON.no and all of a sudden they tell me my order can't go through because the DVD is no longer being produced or something like that  :twak: :poke: :~(

NOW what do I do?
Is there anywhere I can order it from that still has it? And that won't cost me a fortune? I live in Norway btw.
Do I have to pay custom for DVDs?
I am so unhappy now, I really love that DVD!

Anyone have any advice for me?

Is it possible to copy? I could do that, I have the DVD. I do not know how legitimate it is, but do not tell anyone ...

I'd very much prefer an original DVD, but if I can't find any I'll take anything
Maybe Amazon have or something. I'll try to check a bit more and see how expensive it'll get.
Hmm.. Looks like Amazon have it in stock. But so it said on the CDON website, but when I had ordered it, they suddenly took it down from the website :x

If I order from Amazon it will get below the custom limit, so I won't have to pay that.. Sounds good, I'll try that :)
Says there's two left in stock. Fingers crossed!

At least I was able to place my order at Amazon.com.
Hopefully they really DO have it in stock as it says and don't cancel the order like CDON did.
So much trouble

(And the shipping is half the price of the DVD.. Luckily the DVD itself isn't so expensive) :)

I hope you get a DVD! :)

I can understand as a mother that the children are actually "talented" to cause mess.

Thanks shg!

Kids are usually very talented in that manner
Usually I keep the "precious" DVDs away so he can't reach them, but UUUUGH! Forget it once and it's a disaster!
And of course it had to be the one DVD that was hard to get a new copy of ;)

I'll post this in here instead of creating another topic.

Got my DvD+Cd version yesterday and.
it didin't work in three of our four DvD players and the one couldn't display it in colors.
Does anyone else have problems like these?
I'm returning it to the store today and I'm really mad at everybody.

I have the same problem with the new Edguy DVD. Some dumbass at Nuclear Blast had the idea to release the DVD in NTSC format. That makes the quality a tiny bit better, but you can't play it on most DVD players since most of those fucking european DVD players only play PAL DVDS. WHY THE FUCK IS THERE PAL AND NTSC ANYWAY?
Try to play it on your PC.

It is technically necessary.

I'm not going that far.
I'm returning the DvD to the store tomorrow or something and if it still doesn't work at least my PCs will then recognize it if it is new.
This one was a bit scrapped when I bought it and thats why I'm returning it.

Okay, you're right. I was mixing up PAL and NTSC with that Region 1/2/My Ass bullshit.

I think a better question is why do they still make DVD players that play only one format? All region, NTSC/PAL players are cheap. I've had one for years. I can't believe they aren't all that way by now.

If anyone's in the market, there are TONS of them out there. Amazon has them new and used ranging from $25-$99.

I play all my DVDs on PC so I don't really have that problem but it really sucks if I want to watch a DVD on my TV every once in a while but I can't because this piece of shit doesn't play everything that isn't Region 1 and NTSC stuff only in Black and White.

Hello Irinia! Nice to see you again here in a long time! I noticed you in "Other discussion...". Did you get a new Infinite Visions DVD to replace the broken?
