Amazon Failed me TWICE on getting me Stratovarius's Albums

I'M SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW.

Back on May, when Polaris was the new thing, I went to Amazon to see If I could order one of the special versions of the album. I posted my order for one of the CD + 7 Editions of the Album.

"Time passed by, I couldn't fail"

But hell!!, Amazon could!
About 3 months later, I recive an e.mail that said:
"Bla bla bla, we can't get you the item, bla bla, your order is cancelled"
IT WAS A SPECIAL EDITION!!!
Thanks Amazon!!
Why do they post an item they can't get?

Then August came. I said: "Well, I still have the money I could not use in that Polaris Special Edition album. Let's order Fright Night, the only Stratovarius album I don't own right now.
I do download music, but I'm an honest girl, and I HATE not to have the original record. I think is bad not to pay for the music, so I really wanted to buy Fright Night.
So, I returned to Amazon, placed my order on a regular edition of Fright Night, posted NOT by a third party user of Amazon, but by Amazon it self.

... BUT AMAZON COULD AGAIN!!!!
Just today I recive an e.mail that says:
"Bla bla, we can't get you Stratovarius bla bla fuck you"

Why?! Why do they post something they can't get?!

Ok, Polaris CD + 7 was a rare thing, ok.
¡¿But fucking Fright Night?!
The album's been out there for over 15 years.
Why?...
Why can't I buy the music?
I don't want to have just fucking mp3 downloaded from some random page.
Why can't I buy the music?! I want to!!
Yeah... later on I buyed a regular edition of Polaris, and that's nice... but I can't find Fright Night ANYWHERE.
And... If Amazon failed me... I don't know where else to go, and I still want my original copy of Fright Night.
Why is it so hard to find it?
When Stratovarius came to México, inside of the building, there were some sellers with metal albums.
They had Cain's Offering's Stuff, Sonata Arctica's new "The Days of Grays", some Edguy and Nightwish albums, etc, and they had there all original, all of Strato's albums, but Fright Night. It's like it has vanished from Earth.

They even had some rare japanese edition of Polaris.
How can they have that and not Fright Night?
I don't know what to do next ):

well... I have spent like 75994857 million dollars in stuff on amazon and never had a problem.

Actually, I bought my copy of fright night to them like a year ago.

I just happen to have the best record store where I live.
It has never let me down adn I don't even have to order the new stuff.
For example I was the first one on this forum to have Polaris on my hands (from the purely fan side the band and reviewers not included) and it was 17€ and it was the great digipak which is quite precious to me already.

They always have the records in the store on the rleease date.

Richest man in México owns it, along with many other mexican enterprises... So you might think..

Polaris came here about a month late, and just the regular jewelcase one
But for example, Revolution Reinassance's alums are not there. Saana took about 6 months to get here...
I have to order Sonata Arctica's stuff online because hey only have Reckoning Night, UNIA and The Days of Grays... which came late too.
I... just don't know how will I get Fright Night.
And ebay scares me

Probably because it's more than likely out of print. I believe it would have to be reissued by the record label for a new supply to be on the market. Not sure who has the rights to that album, but if it's still Universal, might be a while before it resurfaces. Amazon keeps it posted on the off chance that someone will put a used one up for sale through them.

Their system is automated. No person closed your order. The computer only discovers its "error" after a certain period of time, apparently three months. Yes, it's a crappy way to do business.

The record store I spoke of BTW promises to search and locate any manufactured cd for you.
No delivery costs inside finland and you can always order the record to the store and go pick it up at anytime.
They have limited editions of almost any common record there at all times.

Well lets just say I have bought for example limited editions to Luca Turillis Prophet of The Last Eclipse, Hammerfalls Steel Meets Steel Ten Years fo Glory, Symphony Xs Odyssey, Thunderstones Burning (the original digipak with 6!!! bonus tracks) and so on and I really mean there is a big big bunch of both rare and common records.

Just last week I bought TTs Classical Variations and Themes for 10€ and it was a Japanese import.
They also had there just lying around Sonata Arcticas Successor as used but still in good shape and Takatalvi which was just a a japanese release.
Also the Cans solo album and Rhapsodys Power of the Dragonflame as the DvD+Cd edition.
They had Infinite Visions even before the re-release in stock.

Does that sound good or what?

You can still try www.play.com (they also have a page for US) which is quite reliable (I've ordered around 10 items from there and never had any problem either with the site or the sellers - and I once needed to return something without any problems) and also much cheaper than amazon in some cases (specially when you order just one item cause it has free shipping for everything)

Also about Amazon, if they have something as "in stock" it means they have it 100%. If it's something like "usually shipped during 3 weeks" it means that they have a supplier which is supposed to receive the order from them and then deliver it to them before they ship it to you. So probably you case was the second one. I understand how it feels cause I had the same problem with a rare book I found in Amazon and I "RUN" to order it! But then my order had the same result as yours. But other than that I can say that www.amazon.com and www.amazon.co.uk are the most reliable (they needed to replace an item which was lost during shipping once and I had it the next day I noticed them about my "no-receiving")

And lastly you can try www.alibris.co.uk (which also has a page for the US I think) which is also reliable (the shop and the sellers). It just takes a little longer till I receive my items from there cause I order from sellers from the US so it may be faster for someone else...

There was a story on the Finnish Soundi magazine about those albums that haven't been reissued even though they still had demand. Fright Night was mentioned in that article.

Good thing I happened to find it in a local record store once. I've seen it in stores only once ever since. It was the last Strato album I got because it was rather hard to find.
