Wonder how long this guy will last before Tolkki subtly tells him to fuck off.

From Wikipedia:
On March 6, 2007, a statement was posted online at HammerFall's official website (and his own official website), that bassist Magnus Rosén would not be involved with the band anymore. The reason for his departure stated that he was unhappy in the band and wants to focus on other projects. On his own website (and therefore with his own official statement) it was announced that Magnus was tired of the simple bassplaying he was forced to play in HammerFall, and that he was unable to bring his own material to the band. He now wants to "be more creative in his career"
So if Magnus left HammerFall for those reasons... how come he goes back to a similar situation? I guess RR's material is a bit more adventurous but still. Anyway, he's an outstanding musician and I'm sure that he'll bring a lot to the table.

www.revolution-renaissance.com is still alive, same server as before, it's just empty.

Now there is www.revolution-renaissance.net, different hosting company. Weird.

-shrug-

That's good about Magnus playing the bass I suppose, hope it all works out well! :)

A Really good choise.
Magnus did great with Hammerfall yet I was never sad about him leaving.
Yet it will be nice to hear him playing again.

Yet I have to say that either he fits in with them really well or then he quits sooner than you can realise.

When I first read the name of the topic, I thought the same
Hopes, besides all this, that he can stay for long as he is a great player :)

It was very much power metal.
Yet it wasn't typical and generic power metal.

Then I prefer generic power metal to the wasten of money that is Age of Aquarius.

I wasn't a big fan of Age of Aquarius, but I liked it a lot better than Polaris. :P

Polaris was better but I truly enjoyed AoA.
It was just really awesome stuff but I can see why people don't like it.

the mans stage presence is legend. with the epic writing of tolkki and bruno, and if they add magnus to writing, they should pull off some very epic music.

Lord knows we can only hope. Truly wish it happens. Magnus rules and I only want him associated with epic music.

Isn't it funny that those who loved AOA thought Polaris sucked and those that thought Polaris was great hated AOA?

it's almost as if it's done on principle because one feels they have to hate one to like the other.

I could be wrong here so don't quote me on this.

In my opinion I thought they were both great albums, different but great albums.

It's pretty much true, but I don't absolutely hate Polaris, neither do I absolutely love AoA.

Polaris lacks something, and it's not that interesting because of it. And I don't know what to say about AoA...they should have left Behind the mask out atleast.

You know...I don't know what to think. We'll see what happen, I suppose he is the best now for Tolkki... and later: Image

Same here, it's like I said it makes me wonder if they simply hate these albums on some invisible principle or something.

Then again I could be wrong
