I don't really like Mägo de Oz, but in any case, you guys can add other bands if you want. I wasn't planning on taking requests because I don't want to search for songs on youtube 24/7...

So, that's a damn shame, I love them!

Angeles del Infierno is an outstanding Spanish metal band! Their original traditional metal songs are so damn great.

Colombia is in the scene too!
Kraken is heavy/rock from Colombia, a really good band
Instropección excelent power metal
Tenebrarum but they have English songs.

Baron Rojo

Barón Rojo is the greatest band all time in Spain. They played in he Marquee, London, and in Reading Festival in 1982.
They have an english version of their greatest album, " volumen brutal. If someone is interested, the band have reissued both versions in a special edition.

! Rata Blanca is THE band! And I'm really glad that finally someone made a post including the marvelousness of the metal of Argentina. Also Alakrán, Kamikaze, V8, Hermetica, Alma Fuerte and Logos... Man! I'm proud of beign an Argentinian

Mägo de Oz, Barón Rojo and Ángeles del Infierno are the cliché bands everyone knows about. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm not a fan. I wanted to post other lesser-known, newer (and in my opinion, better) bands.
My favourite bands from the ones I posted above are Zeldar, Dragonfly, Avalanch, Eidyllion, and Azeroth. Apart from their music, I love many of their lyrics.

@gonza: You're welcome, but I didn't do this for the patriotism. Check the discussion on nationalism in the "College / University thread" and you'll see what I mean.

Why is it that people always feel the need to highlight their countries' awesomeness at the expense of others and then, invariably, claim that they are proud of something they haven't done or achieved themselves?
Frankly, no one cares if you are proud of being Colombian, Spanish or Argentinian. Yes I know, I posted mainly Argentinian bands, but that's only because having been born and raised there I was obviously more exposed to them than to non-Argentinian ones. I'm glad there are many nice bands. Proud? No.

I didn't mean that, I just commented that because it's hard to find a post here on the forum talking about things I can comment. I know that you made this thread to show that there is no underrated band in the world, and so that people not knowing this kind of music can learn a little of other cultures
