Wizards debut CD now streaming on MySpace Music

David Carter, an old friend and a great guitarist, has finally gotten into the 21st century and put up a music profile on MySpace. Dave has posted "The Final Catastrophe", the debut CD by Wizards which he co-wrote and co-produced, in its entirety at the URL below.

After years and years of delays, the album was finally recorded and released on Laser's Edge back in '97, and if I am not mistaken, is currently out of print. Most of the material was written back in the early '80s (of which some very cool 16 track analog demos circulated for years) with the exception of the nearly nineteen minute epic "All of the World", which was composed in the studio during the recording of the project.

There is already a band called Wizard.

Which may be why these guys changed the spelling of their name to "Wyzards", have always used the plural form of the name, and bears no relation to the other band.
