Glad to find another fan here :D!
"Circus Maximus will now be entering the studio to start the pre-production of the next album, planned to be released late 2010. We are writing new stuff everyday and so far we have more or less 8 songs completed for the album and we can honestly tell you it sounds AMAZING! Can't wait to show you ;) We would like to thank everyone who have been supporting us throughout the years... you're the best! - Truls, Mats, Lasse, Glen and Michael."

What can we expect? A masterpiece!

Just got
Timo Tolkki - Hymn to Life
Cans - Beyond the Gates

5€ each.

Hymn to Life is so wonderful.
Reminds me of why I apreciate him even after all he did and said.

Beyond the Gates on the other hand is such a kickass solo-album any fan of Hammerfall should have.

Scorpions - Crazy World
Placebo - Sleeping with Ghosts
Dream Theater - Octavarium

All are great, but recently I most often listen to Scorpions. Very good production,

Hymn to Life is a wonderful CD, but actually I'm not in the mood to listen it :)

Agree! I don't like some of the things he's done, and I'm not a fanboy, but I appreciate this in-depth, personal and spiritual message of this album...definitely one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time

Savatage - Streets: A Rock Opera - very nice ideas, but still I prefer "The Wake of Magellan"

Symphony X - Symphony X (the only CD without Russell Allen - but it is very good - actually listening to it )

Avantasia - Angel of Babylon & The Wicked Symphony (it is a different topic, generally not bad, musically there are good and mediocre songs, overally soloes are dull, vocals great, except Tobias- I don't understand him, he invites Ripper, Jim Oliva, Russell Allen, Kiske, Bob Catley, Klaus Meine and then he songs with them about 50% of material, of course comparing to them his voice isn't as original and nice to listen :D, I like different styles that are on the CD, from rocky The Edge, to same Heavy Metal songs)

Apocalyptyca - The Cult (I have to listen to)

Nightwish - Angels Fall First - I don't like it, but I want to gain whole discography :) (Holopainen made a big progress as a composer, so Once and Dark Passion Play are much more complex and attractive)

:? you really like it?
I can't stand the vocals even for a minute.

Silent Force - Walk the Earth

Really good stuff. Somehow very original but still nothing new. The singer sure reminds me of Pekka Heino even though they are not that similar at all.

It isn't so bad and the music is very good.

Sure.
1. They are better quality than MP3 and it is noticeable on hi-fi system
2. I like my shelf with CD, my collection :)
3. In car I used to listen to CD
4. If I use more winamp than hi-fi, then I would probably choose some list of songs and I think it would be bad, i'd rather want to listen whole CDs
5. I like to collect authographs on CD
6. In Poland rapidshare is still more popular than napster, itunes is not available (weird) and overally online CD are unpopular

About Avantasia: Riff from 2nd part of Scales of justice from "The Wicked Symphony" is very similar to U2 "Pride(in the name of love) :)
