1. He is a neo-classical composer, not power metal, while the two are related, if I put Malmsteen up, I'd have to put Vinnie Moore and a slew of other guitarists up there that would make the list WAY longer.
While a lot of material he's put out does seem to go in circles sometimes, there's an awful lot of great stuff he's created and some of my all time favourite tracks are Malmsteen ones. And I don't even play guitar. But whatever floats your boat, etc.2. He's pretty boring
