Most sad and depresive song you know

Post by HinatAArcticA » Mon Aug 30, 2010 5:22 am

To me would be this one by Emilie Autumn, even though I know it's a cover. It's really so sad... makes me feel bad, really...

I couldn't ever consider a song to be sad. They can evoke feelings, but that doesn't mean they're sad, it's you feeling sad which is subjective not the song but I get the point. Some which are "sad" have good intentions and are really comforting . Here's a good one:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PAQdudWY1sM?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PAQdudWY1sM?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Totally Tears of Ice is the most depressing Strato song..Dreamspace is a very dark album.

Overall I would go with "bacherollete" by Bjork OR "Good Ridance" by Green Day 8)

I think this is a sad song. Its about the passing of Ingo Schwichtenberg, after all. And if you don't like the song- maybe its sad in another sense of the word.

I totally agree that Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" is very, well - hurtful? And Nick Cave's "Weeping Song"!

Type O Negative were one of my favourite bands. Their music has so much impact.

This one never fails to send chills down my spine. About the ultimate destruction of the self and therefore, the ultimate destruction of existence.

Aaaaand of course, the most depressing music has to be written by Finns.

Simply mesmerising masterpiece of funeral doom. Best enjoyed with the lights off and lying as still as you can.

Depressing you say? Well, maybe Radiohead's "Karma Police"; it sounds like a song to kill yourself...In fact most of Radiohead songs are kind of suicidal :?
