Re: The A-Team of Finland
Shows how much americans really know about Finland. The accent is closer to swedish and the name isn't even Finnish. Granted there's a lot of swedish sounding surnames in here.

If the guy wouldn't have said the A-Team from Finland, I'd still think they were Swedish.

Re: The A-Team of Finland
You think the writers of the simpsons represent what americans think of Finland? Do you know what they really think? Nothing. Because they never even heard of the country! (true story) I tested it before! Finwhat? Who? Huh??
Re: The A-Team of Finland
Or Swedish-speaking Finns, who represent 5 % of the total population.Kecos wrote:The comments on that video are all basically arguing over the guys being Swedish.. maybe they're Swedes working for Finland
Re: The A-Team of Finland
Ah hell I just look at it as a funny joke, I mean I don't get pissed off when people from other countries think that we Americans all have deep south accents and say things like "purdy" all the time.

We famous now! ^-^
To be fair, I don't think anyone south from Denmark, or maybe even outside of Finland and Sweden would know the difference(?)Kosmo wrote:Shows how much americans really know about Finland. The accent is closer to swedish and the name isn't even Finnish.

Actually I can tell the difference, and I'm Hungarian. : DMormegil wrote:We famous now! ^-^

The fact of the matter is many countries have many misconceptions about the world outside their own.
To parody this, here is what European countries think of the States http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghxn38bX7w0
