The closest I've seen them from it

I expected an erotic film starring heinzy-peinzy and his sweet little girlfriend. HAHAHA!! It gets funnier with time.

And to think he pines for me. PFFFF.

Yes, we've only heard one of the Elysium solos into Distant Skies solo... Here is another video mixing some songs, an there is Distant Skies, with better sound that shows very well the solo part!

Kotipelto sings very well, I am impressed with 0:53-1:00 Kotipelto's performance. The only problem with his voice is that it's dried very quicly, but when he sings without problems, WTF! He's fucking amazing!

I have no regrets, even with the coming lawsuit. I, Arnold, believe that Karlheinz Stockhausen is the biggest douchebag one could possibly imagine, and his attempts to blackmail me are in vain. He is nothing more than a closet mullato!! Ahahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

He is caught in a web of lies and lovers...

Wow, aside from the band sounding amazinig, Kotipelto was amazing, specially in Speed of Light.

 PFFF! AND MORE PFFF! STOP COMPLAINING! There's something you need to know about the 'aging voice' -- http://voicemedicine.com/aging.htm

http://hindawi.com/journals/asmp/2010/525783/

And TK's voice is in very good shape for a man of 42.

I still can't get over the fact that this masterpiece hasn't been played live as a whole yet. "Unfortunately" might be demanding enough to remain album version forever...
... would've been awesome if they'd have done it during or after that online show, set was short enough to have energy in reserve for this one. Imagine as an extra for the (hopefully soon...?) upcoming DVD :luv2:

Yes! I hope that there could be somethin related to Elysium on the DVD! Here is a nice video of a man soloing Elysium last solo part (the emotive one :3) and it's very well played!

Axtually.. I am glad they don't play it live... it's way better to play more great songs instead of one long "OK" song.

I do not agree with you. I could get crazy with Elysium live! I'd prefer hear more Strato song instead of the covers (anyway they are pretty nice as well, especially behind blue eyes)

You are free to disagree. I agree with yu with the coverstuff anyway. Why play covers when they have so many songs to play?

Those covers were Jörg's request.

That gave me goose bumps...

Hopefully they'll play Elysium live eventually. It's too good to be left out.

There are many many songs that are too good to be left out ;)

I agree. Playing long songs live can get kind of..annoying after 7 or 8 minutes. Like seeing Symphony X playing Oddessey live was great but it got annoying after the 10th minute.

Well, I wouldn't really want it in the set during a tour either. But I would totally want them playing it on a very special occasion! For example one of Jörg's last shows, or the online show, as mentioned before
