very , veryyy interesting, this is a must, hopefully they make this a must by doing those "deluxe" editions, signed and stuff.
:) that would be great.
so far the song list is nice.

Not really a Sonata fan, but the Cain's Offering album was amazing and when these two get together it really is something special.

Cool, I didn't like CO (just how TK sings in that album), but this acoustic album will be cool mainly because of Perfect Strangers and the Strato songs!

I know the other ones, but what is Where My Rainbow Ends? A cover or something they wrote themselves?

Oh, that's great. But they should've included the Final Countdown. Guess there was a problem with copyrights.
And I cannot help laughing at the album title. It sounds somehow funny in Russian)

it says "Where My Rainbow Ends" is Jani Liimatainen's new song.

I was going to post a pic to describe my emotions about My Selene being there, but I felt it was out of place in the end

I'm interested on a few things.
Will this include Jani's backing vocsls?
How much production will this have? Since it's an acoustic album.
Will this have any other instruments at all?
Will the guitar have dubbed parts with acoustic solos or something?
No need to feel so afraid, colors last a lifetime and fade to gray...

Recordshopx has great prices and ships very quickly to the USA, browneyedgirl. I've ordered from them several times now and always been satisfied.

Since I'm sure Victor is in the know about this, are there any Japan or Deluxe editions coming out?

It is a really cool cover and concept. This album will make the waiting for the new Stratoalbum better!

Yeah I noticed them too a while back. Some of the songs sound good, some of the songs like Black Diamond and Hunting High and low make me smile. TKs voice sounds pretty good. A bit monotonous at times but really good at carrying melodies.
The cover songs are pretty loyal to the originals (judging from these samples) but the Strato songs have really interesting arrangements. For example Speed of Light works surprisingly well as a slow acoustic song.

Will it have additional tracks? I can't seem to find any info. Also one site I found mentioned a vinyl replica version, doesn't matter to me but I know you like to "collect em all" so to speak :)

It would be more to do the oposite... Making heay versions of songs like Forever, Move the mountain etc

Helvetin hyvä levy! Och samma på svenska. :D

Great record that is, especially loving the version of Perfect Strangers, and of course, the Strato songs.

I started to almost cry when I first time heard the song Karjalan Kunnailla...

Finally got to listen to it. Really nice stuff. I do however hope they won't make another or at least that they won't make a whole bunch. It's nice in small portions but I think having too much acoustic stuff would get boring after a while.

i was listening the other Night the Starkers In Tokyo by Whitesnake (Coverdale and Vanderberg) cd and in one point it came to my mind Timo And Jani should do something similar recording an acoustic show for a future release that would be nice
