Yesterday night a man posted a video talking about Nemesis but he was talking louder than the music and it was a shame (he played Abandon)... Today on the morning the video has disappeard, it was a bad video but anyway I was willing to post it here :?

Well, let's wait and wait without samples haha!
You know, I saw the video that you were speaking of. I must say this got my heart racing....even if I had to strain to hear it. AMAZING! But I am going to hold on the two weeks until the listening party to hear the whole thing.....10 days to go!

I am really curious about Nemesis length... If this album is more modern and a bit more heavier and direct than Elysium, it seems that perhaps could loose a bit of progressive elements
(with Matias I am sure that there will be always progressive stuff) and one could be the length of title track Nemesis... and I am curious if the title track could be better than the
masterpiece Elysium, I think that that song is (in general terms) insuperable.

Dangit, my review goes up tomorrow and I was hoping it would be the first.
Nemesis is maybe 6 minutes long, there's nothing longer than 7 minutes on this album

Edit: Nemesis is 6:33

Hey rebel.... Your review up yet?

That listing is probably fake, since Rebel says Nemesis is 6:33 in duration and there are no songs over 7 minutes in length. Also the album lasts 55:32.

Fantasy is NOT ten minutes long, it's 4:14, other than that and Nemesis being 6:33, that's pretty much it though. weird
So, the real track listing is:

1. Abandon 4:52
2. Unbreakable 4:36
3. Stand My Ground 4:14
4. Halcyon Days 5:30
5. Fantasy 4:14
6. Out of the Fog 6:58
7. Castles in the Air 6:02
8. Dragons 4:04
9. One Must Fall 4:28
10. If the Story is Over 6:06
11. Nemesis 6:33
Total Length 55:32

So instead of two songs over six minutes like in Elysium (w/ title track and Lifetime in a Moment), we have four. And Nemesis is only about a minute shorter. Nice! (I can't wait to hear the album and possibly get the two bonus tracks too.) And Texidor, I have been vigorously searching for Nemesis reviews but couldn't find any. Maybe wait a couple of days and there should be some more.

My review is practically a book, but I'm kinda hoping I can get songwriting credits from someone before I post it, I e-mailed their PR agency and PM'd Jens, but who knows. I put up my best guesses in the thread, but a lot of this stuff is very different than what we've heard on Polaris and Elysium so it's hard to tell. Matias' stuff is pretty distinct I think, but Lauri's songwriting was very different on Polaris and Elysium, and Jens is very versatile. I'm pretty confident that Kotipelto wrote Fantasy though, he's usually the best with vocal melodies (Evidenced by Under Flaming Skies)

Yes I have been searching as well....but no luck. @Rebel, I understand you would like to get a complete overview including credits. I await your excellent work soon.

BTW, has anybody found out who the artwork is done by? Looks like the Polaris star was left on Elysium  Then again it may make a reappearance somewhere. Maybe in the back or innersleave artwork.

Here is the video which I was talking of, of course the guy is talking a lot, but you can notice Abandon starting at 2:00. Of course if here is any italian guy, or at least a person who understands and wants to explain what the guy is saying could be great! He explains more or less that it's a great surprise and a very good album!

He also shows us a chorus of Stand My Ground. I know it's a bad audio but anyway...

That's def. Abandon at 2:00, so much is lost with him talking over it. Seriously though, I wouldn't recommend listening to stuff unless it's a clear audio of a song, it's much better if you get it right the first time.

That chorus for "Stand My Ground" was sick! And that was with bad quality.....can only imagine what it would sound like on the real thing WOW!

and yes is some able to give a summary of what he is saying. That would be great!

I really want to know whose idea it was to put so many different effects on Timo's voice in Stand My Ground, it fits, but it's unexpected.

It works!!!!!! Its a very huge chorus albeit the quality in the clip was low. This could be the one that validates the post Tolkki era Stratovarius!

Of course, the first impression with the very best audio quality could make me fall from the sofa!

But hey, we can talk about the Halcyon Days, but this December, January and February are our Halcyon Months, the calm before the storm!! :D You had the privilege (or not  ) to listen to the album(that seems to be one of the best albums of 2013), and some could go to Listening Party, and some spanish guys could go to the acoustic interview in Madrid, but brrrrr I don't want to wait more, Unbreakable has melted my iPod! hehe

Anyway, I will wait for your review! I am sure that you will make a great synopsis of the entire album... this perhaps will be me teaser!

PD: For what I've listened there's a lot of backing vocals and chorus.. That could be great in the album but live Stratovarius might have to record those parts for live performances... And Jens? I can not believe that he could do all this heavy stuff with only his Yamaha-DX7 live! It seems that he could need billions of keyboards on the stage!

The editor has been playing D&D, I have to revise my review in light of new information and then maybe he'll have it up. This is pretty cool, though it makes sense why this person cowrote 2 songs on the upcoming album.
