Thank you very much! Definately buying this one! TK's vocals are quite good (except in Father Time and Forever is Today's chorus IMO). And the band plays awesome.

AND I LOVE HIGHER WE GO! TK YOU'RE AWESOME!!!

True. But I wanted to metion TK in particular because I complained about his vocal condition some time ago.

I still don't like everything. But in most songs on this live album he kicks major ass!

Yes, TK performances are really good in this album.
Really good work from all the band, there are songs with a LOT of power and energy in the stage. One of the most important things is that you can hear a lot all the instruments. In the next album/tour, everything will be a LOT better. Rules.

Got it today. Wonderful as expected, although I think they should have spruced up the studio disc a bit. Didn't really bother looking at the track listing before I purchased it, but they should have included the Deep Unknown remix and "Second Sight", the Japanese bonus.

Absolutely, not to speak of a cover or some new bonus track, or an old rarity. Would have boosted my will to buy that album for the second time just to get the Live.
...Which I haven't even found here from Finland anyway.

Well the realease dates are quite weird. Like on the German Amazon you can allready buy it, while in Holland the CD will be released 26th of June. So just be patient, it will be released somewheren this month.

I must ask, is there any chance that any of these live songs were recorded during the show in Belgrade in January 2010? Very Happy

They were recorded and mixed according to their best shows, so it's quite of unpredictible to know if your specific show was one of those

Just got Polaris live.
I think the package (which is really nice BTW) should be called Polaris Live + Polaris instead of Polaris + Polaris Live.
The first few songs were okay but not as clear as I would have liked. For example in Speed of Light guitars and bass drums were not as clear and loud as I would have liked but this is just the first listening. Towards the end it got really better: Father Time, Higher We Go and Forever is Today were perfect! Tk did very good on the songs I expected him not to. FT was almost as good as on Visions of Europe which I consider to be the best live album I have ever heard.
On the other hand the weakest was Winter Skies which is simply too atmospheric to play perfectly live.
A Million Lightyears Away could have been better too.
Overall it is good for the price of 12 € (11,95) and I can't wait to get a DvD plus a few Cds of more live material possibly from the next tour.

If you have just a little musical hearing you would hear that TK's voice on Father Time from Polaris Live is very, very weak. Visions of Europe sounded 100000000 times better. Higher We Go is very good though.

Yeah you are right his voice on FT wasn't very powerful and I do prefer VoE version but I think he did surprisingly and had his voice definately high enough.

Well I hate the high parts on Polaris Live. They are really bad. Not off key, but really weak. Didn't like it. But everyone has his opinions ofcousre.

That's because VOE was 12/11 years before Polaris Live. Imagine you are a high-pitched singer and try to keep the same voice among all these years...Then we'll see

I know that it's not possible to keep my voice in schape as a high pitched singer. And that is why, if I was TK, I wouldn't sing those songs anymore.

True, but you have to realise that most of Strato's songs are high pitched
