Stratovarius was founded in 1984 by three guys from Helsinki, Finland; drummer and vocalist Tuomo Lassila, bass player John Vihervä and guitarist Staffan Stråhlman. Before Stratovarius the same line up performed under name Black Water.
Oh yes he did, Stratovarius changed totally after TT joined the band. He didn't FORM the band, but he made Stratovarius to what it is nowadays. I don't need you to tell me that Stratovarius was formed by those three guys. Did you really think that I don't know that??? So, like i said before, TT is the guy who created strato.
