TT says in his interview ( in Soundi) :" Right now I am not allowed to speak anything at all concerning Stratovarius in the magazines ".

This album Revolution Renaissance is the Vision-style power metal album, it will come out maybe in June . Their parts have recorded Michael Kiske, Pasi Rantanen, and Tobias Sammet. As well as Mirka Rantanen who did the drums and Pasi Heikkilä from 45 Degree Woman,who made the bass. (According to TT in Soundi )

Yes, true. But, he is allowed to discuss RR, the album&band, right?

I searched about 10 metal-related websites and couldn't find any news related to this (not even in Blabbermouth).

I hate Soundi (and every finnish music and movie -magazine for that matter) with great passion.
I'm just surprised that if the latest issue came out yesterday (right?), you still can't find any news on the internet about news like that.
Kiske is great, but I'll rather listen to old Helloween and get a new Stratovarius-album instead of this. All this waiting and this is what we get?

Tolkki in a new band without Jörg and Kotipelto. A new band with Kiske¿?, with Sammet¿? with Rantanen¿?
I don't like Kiske, Sammet or Rantanen.
I don't like Kotipelto's band, or Kotipelto's music. For me sounds like a bad hard-rock band. Like a bad bon jovi 80's clone.

So if we are going to listen Kotipelto's band or Tolkki making music for another voices and saying bye bye to Strato, I'm going to kill myself.

Tolkki - Jörg - Jens - Kotipelto, this can't be altered IMO.

This news absolutely destroyed me - a new power metal album without JÖRG, KOTIPELTO or JENS??? will be never as good as Visions or Episode was!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kiske is a perfect singer, but not for my favourite band - STRATOVARIUS
Stratovarius is a feeling that contains the voice of TIMO! (Kotipelto or Tolkki, but I prefer Kotipelto:))

You might have something here, Beg. Anyone remember a few years back the announcement that Stratovarius/Tolkki had signed a deal worth X millions euros with Sanctuary Records for three albums. If I recall it right, they have released only one; "Stratovarius" based on the deal.
Regarding Timo's unability to talk about the situation of Strato righ now, maybe the only way to get RR out in the form he wants to really was to make it a project outside of Strato. Legal things can turn into nasty stuff... and yes, I'm only making sophisticated guesses here.

wow, this are really strange news... but in some way, not really surprising! There hasn't been any news about the band for a long long time! And to be honest, I really thought that something was not going well...

Could be and April fool's joke, but... don't you think that it's been quite a long time since it was published? It would be really weird that now Tolkki stated: "hey guys, that was just a joke!"

And using other artist name's for this kind of stuff it's not very common...

We'll have to wait and see what happens!

BTW: Tolkki doesn't read this forum any more, so there's no point in begging for a official press release here... althought it would be nice to have one

Yes, this may be just temporary. Lets not carve a rock with Stratovarius name on it just yet!
