but why should they fight for that symbol? I know the lily is really meaningful to TT, he has said that many times, and it was also his idea to add it to the Strato logo (I think so) but there were many people using it before TT did.

Like I said I completely agree with you and I think it would be awesome if they kept the lily as it's associated with them.

I was just worried about there being a stink about it similiar to the one with the name.

It’s hardly a symbol that screams stratovarius. It's a part of the logo but not something for anyone to claim.





The way they are designed is what gives them their trademarks, not just the fact that they are fleur de lis.

Something that I noticed. And this is just an idea....We see that RR uses the old lily from 97-04 on its logo, which is cool. However what about if the guys chose to use the ne lily from the black album instead. I tend to find that one really cool. Or perhaps design a new version to show the Stratovarius of today.

That logo ain't that bad, it simply doesn't contain the smooth curves that reflect the music's classical influence. Oh, and the anarchy symbol doesn't have anything to do with Stratovarius...

I'm so excited they are oficially coming to Spain!!! It's just that I cannot get it out of my head. RazielSR and I were today talking about it. We're really excited! We hope to get some pictures with them. Once we've met them, we can dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I was thinking about the Stratovarius logo and lily again these days, will they keep it, what will they have decided to do with that? Will they change the logo?What do you think?

We will have a new logo yes.. and the fleur de lis will be, well, if not less prominent, it will be gone totally.
