Hey, so we have pics in this topic. How come no one dared to post a "Stratoforum greeting" in youtube yet? I guess we are not ready for the next technological step, which means going from pics to a video... Technology advances too fast... I long for the days of my Dynacom, when I could play Pong...

Oh man! Yesterday I spent some time experimenting with 3d pics. I learned how to make 3d pics with Photoshop and with a little program called Callipygian. I'm so freaking excited! I love taking pics and seeing slideshows or stuff like that, so now, being able to make 3d pics is like a revolution for me! The hardest thing is to calibrate the two images that you have to take, but hopefully I'll learn to do it a little better with time.

EDIT: In case anyone is interested and can see 3d pics, here are some.

This pic is from the tutorial that taught me to make 3d pics. Obviously, it was taken by a guy who clearly knew what he was doing. The image is very sharp:

The next ones are mine. As you can see, they are not quite as sharp as the previous pic, but hey, they are not bad. The effect is supposed to work better with black and white pics because some colours are lost in the conversion:
