Album sounds good, and imma buy it. I like the new TT's soloing style but i think those solos should be little cleanier and they sound abit wierd cause ive used to hear old kind of soloing :roll: . Trinitys starting-riff sounds like a rip-off of one riff from Iron Maiden's Revelations

Good and solid album. Sounds like a cheap production though. Very far from Stratovarius sound.

You know your posts have really made me interested about the new Revolution Renaissance album. I think this album is gonna the best thing ever. Because of your posts I will purchase it. Well I heard their new album & now I know why this band is over... :roll:

I don't like it, the vocals are not good & I think is the worst album that TT composed, the melodies are not nearly as good as they were at the time he was in Stratovarius, also some songs on this album seems to be plagiarism of Helloween :(

What happened and where did the inspiration of Tolkki? :?

I haven't heard the whole album yet, but those songs, what I have heard sounds awesome and fresh.

Don't like it. Like someone said, Gus' voice doesn't fit at all, also like AoA, the sound of the album overall, lacks of production, probably by a cheap budget, so sad...this album with a Karmila mix..... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: . Where're the keys...i heard some solo...but too little. The only thing that i can rescue in this albums is the tolkkish feeling of the songs, also the mind-blowing solos, absolutely stunning.
For me, Tolkki took a good desicion by stopping the band. None of the albums can compare in quality to his previous works. Maybe he can record some albums just like 'New Era', with a good bag with guests, just songs, no presure

I just downloaded the album. I'm of course going to buy it, since I don't like just downloading an album. I have not listen to all the songs, but I'll post my first impressions, then I'll edit or make a new post.

First, keyboard is just not there as it should. Crossing the Rubicon seems to be telling me... "Hey Maka, add some keys if you want" :lol: So I might do it somtime soon...

I don't really think it sounds as classic power metal as "Heroes" did on New Era, but I think it's a good thing.

I will post what I really think of every song later, because I think I need some time to really listen to the album, but I'll just say for now:

1.- New Era
2.- Trinity
3.- Age of Aquarius

I like them all, and I do think I'll end up preefering Trinity over New Era, I just need to really listen to it.

I have downloaded it and I will definitely buy it. To me after about 5 listens this a strong and emotional album. I think it blends the old with the new. You can definitely here Tolkki's influence in the songs but they are fresh and razor sharp. It really does not sound like a Strato clone which in itself is a good thing since they are two different bands now. And the lyrical message is very intense. Anyone who is down and needs a musical pick me up should listen to this. Its a real shame that this is there swan song. Nothing more to grow from after only three albums. This is definitely going to be a gem for 2010. To bad it was there last!

I agree with you. I also hate war and famine. And dictators and disease. I also think crime is horrible. I also think the singer sounds out of tune on the new Revolution Renaissance album, I don't like that either, it's like famine and war put together.

I agree!! I dont understand why the keys are buried in the mix.

The RR guys are very upset about how Tolkki fooled them with the money.

guitar solos are good, but way too loud. At times, they even overpower the drums! Otherwise I love the album
