Okay i have to avoid my friend 'til the tenth he propably is going to play the songs outloud.

For once i'm not going to listen to the songs until i have the album!
I also want to wait. The deluxe edition is only 8 days away from lying in my letterbox. But the temptation is very very big...

HELP!!!
That videoclip is great by the way. And The Great Pandemonium is my new favorite Kamelot song. Sorry Karma...

Surely a pleasure. But I started reading reviews and stuff, and then I just couldn't wait any longer.
You'll be very happy in 7 days, I can tell you that!

I noticed one of the songs is My Train of Thoughts...Does it sound like Dream Theater?
What's your favourite on the album so far?

Quite good album, but not close to the period 99-05
I love "The Great pandemonium thouggh" Finally a metalband that makes a video for the best song on the album.

The Black Halo is a masterpiece! Ghost opera was quite boring

I also think The Black Halo is a masterpiece. But I think PftP is even more a masterpiece. I love the fact thet Roy is singing in a slightly lower range now. Suits his voice much better.

WTF: that video scared me
Kamelot sold their souls to the devil?
To be very honest I don't like the way this band took...

Yeah many people don't like their new direction.
I love it! The new album has sort of everything. There's dark new stuff, but also hint to Karma and The Black Halo type of music.

For some reason i always like when power metal bands turn more prog-ish..For example Unia is the ruling champion in Sonata's discography, well okay you could say it's a matter of taste but it's excellent.
And in my opinion from what i can tell off the teaser, khan's voice seems to fit more with these kind of dark and moody songs.

I also like Unia the most! And yes, Roy's voice really stands out on this album. You'll hear.

Well it might be difficult dude, i haven't heard the song and i won't listen to it until i have the album.
What's exactly wrong with it in your opinion?

Because Rik being a Kamelot fan said it's better than Karma wich is the reigning champion in Kamelot's songlist.

Good song, good instruments and a singer who is one of the worst metal singers ever. Also that video is almost as funny as a black metal video. :DDDD

My good man, you have been sentanced to death. Worst? I know the vocalist is propably the key in any band, if you don't like him/her you don't like the band, pretty much.
But..Worst? Khan has an amazing voice, it's very different from the rest and that's good. The idea to bring an opera voice to metal was amazing, look how good Nightwish turned for example.
Roy brings the characters in his songs alive, he doesn't need to alter his voice much, but you can tell when there's some exact character from the story ''speaking''.
His voice has changed over the years, some say to better some say to worse. What don't you like about his voice? That it isn't high pitched? I'm curious.

Nah, the pitch is fine for me, I love some very deep voices (like Eric Clayton's (Saviour Machine), but there's some... vibration that annoys me in Khan's voice.

Ah i see what you mean, taht would be because of his opera background. It doesn't bother me so i didn't really see it as a problem.
