Misfits' drummer Dr. Chud back in 2000 and SAXON also in 2000 at an in-store they did here. There were probably about 15 people in line only

I've met a fair few metal bands. As a few other people here will agree, the Stratovarius guys are all really cool and very friendly. Paradise Lost were also really nice to us and gave us beer, which is the fastest way to my heart, and I ran into Dark Tranquillity a few years ago, also a very cool bunch.
Outside of metal, I was once almost run over by Jude Law in his Jaguar when I was crossing Park Lane without looking. I also got within a few feet of Baroness Hale, a Supreme Court justice here (who are basically celebrities to legally-inclined people).
I think there are more but I can't think of any at the moment.

I just met Paul Gilbert last week. You might know him from Mr. Big and that smash #1 hit "To Be With You". They used to look like eighties american rock stars and everything, but now they look like this. Paul's the one on the left...
He's a super cool guy and an absolute guitar genius who - amazingly - still enjoys playing with other musicians and allows them to shine as well. Really cool dude... I'm slightly beyond that going for an autograph phase, but he sure made time for his fans after the show. Really great!
I also met Tony Spinner, a fine guitarist with a cracking voice. He's supporting Paul Gilbert on his European tour. Great guy too!
Cheerio,
Damien

Take our relationship as a 10-year-old marriage, and take my relationship with Susie as a 2-month lover...That should make it clearer

You like Mr. Big and / or Paul Gilbert as well?
They're all cracking musicians. I met Billy Sheehan at a bass clinic (see above on this thread), and he's a nice guy too, although I won't endorse his ideas about scientology. People whom I'd still like to meet: Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Jimmy Page, Yngwie Malmsteen, David Gilmour, Chris de Garmo, Brian May... just to pick their brains about playing the guitar...
Cheers,
Damien

And of course Strato...

and I met their manager already!!! Hahahaha

that's a start, right???
