Well, I should mention that Riot!, a distribution label in Australia has released Elysium here.
Are you aware of that Jens? (of course you are
) So perhaps feedback from them in regard to album sales might give some indication of the viability.
There is an event here in Australia that caters for all walks of music. Its called "The Big Day Out". It was once-upon-a-time a cornerstone for local music to propel itself, however it also lends itself to promote international music.
Unfortunately though, in recent years its become a shadow of its former self, big business got in the way to shamelessly promote "mainstream music" for live performances on a budget.
We dont strictly have a "metal" event here (like Wacken). But I can say with great certainty that metal is still VERY popular here. Acts such as Steel Panther & Dragonforce have performed here. As well as older ones such as Motley Crue & Def Leppard (even Judas Priest).
All Strato needs is that little push into the limelight. Another indication may indeed be amount of stuff Ive seen for sale on eGay here in Australia. So a following is definitely here, the voice just needs to be heard by the right people.
