Matias seems focus on heavy riffs and some stuffs. I don't think that his solos are becoming sloppy or cheesy, maybe lazy I think or He purposely done it without much the cliche. I wonder what T(r)ollki thinks of this when he listen to this new song

I think the song sounds like ost from Metal Gear Solid. New, but I have to check the entire album to embrace the rebirth completely.

Halcyon Days on repeat since 8am. I was thinking about the tour while listening. This kind of epicness deserves an epic stage design. Pyro's, one hell of a lightshow, not just a blank stage. Something specially crafted for this tour.

And after having listened to it at least 20 times on my way to work today, I can officially declare that I love it as well <3 I just had to ignore the expectations I had before Very powerful song with very fresh vibe and sound and effects. Must've been a lot of fun both to record and to mix, and trying out the effects and stuff

the thing about the sound of Strato is that they are not repeating themselves anymore and even though the music is not that Power Metal (which i love) sounds really really fresh and pretty fucking enjoyable!

I second that.....The first time I heard it yesterday, I really didn't know what to think. For example, I love Sonata Arctica, but when they go way left, they go all the way to the left. You know its different from the start. What I loved about Halcyon Days was is identifiable as Stratovarius and it has the classic power and melody....just twisted and made more modern. Quite honestly I LOVE IT! Its like classic albums like Episode, Vision, and Infinite brought into the 2010's. Congrats Strato!


I will give you guys a full report on Monday when I go the Listening Party- 5 more days....can't wait!

One day after having a second song, and we already have a third one?! This album is giving everybody so much expectation that it's not healthy anymore! Halcyon Days has become now a great song, it took me time to forget about what I was used to listen from the band, and now I simply love it !

I saw that too, however, I would not trust it. I dont think if it were to leak it would be this early. And for those that do and love it.....Buy it and support our future releases and tour by Stratovarius.

what?! hey, that's way too early, I'm still in the "looking-forward-to"-hype but now I know it's leaked, it's going to be a very hard task to wait two more months till the CDs arrive ofc I was happy to hear three new songs by now, but all of them? fuck those people to tempt me like this, not fair

After carefully listening this song few dozen times and analyzing it while being drunk I conclude that IT'S FUCKING AWESOME!

This song is absolutely great! I love it. Only six days to the single release and about a month to the album. Hard to wait.. This album will be great!
