I find it interesting how many of you attest to having metal improve your social circumstances. If anything, i have found that metal improves my antisocial circumstances.

Me. Maybe it sounds strange, but I have no reason to tell a lie about this. It has been hard during the first ten years, but if you fight for what you consideer right, it doesn´t matter if you have long hair, or not, if you wear leather jacket or not. If you see me at the job, you couldn´t recognize me perhaps, but I am loyal to myself even at the office.. At first everybody said " cut your hair, stop listening that fucking noise, that´s no culture, blablablabla".... and I replied, " it´s my decission, not yours". But at last, if you demonstrate your value and you fight hard for your targets, you study and you have the enough power to what you want to do in a correct way, You will improve your life, even being a mad metal head. I live in a spanish area where being a metal head, for many and many years, was a blasphemy!

But maybe i should clarify. "If anything, i have found that metal improves my antisocial circumstances". I meant that to be taken as i wrote it; Not that metal has fucked up my social circumstances, but rather that it has made being antisocial a boon, a productive and excellent place to be....rather than the pathetic loser place that emo makes it out to be.

Although it HAS fucked up my social circumstances.

not only heavy metal can do that. There other many things apart from heavy metal that can give you different thoughts and feelings. But I mean, is HM a big influence in your daily life, apart from listening a certain music?

the problem with metal and lifestyle is METAL GOT BALLS!!!! metal is life, religion and all...ppl couldnt agree with me, but is ok...to me is much more than music...had helped me in the life many times...
