Are you going to bring your mother to the show then?

I really am sorry about that...
But I'd better not see a repeat of what happened with Sonata Arctica!!!!

U wont, I must find a person who to go with, or a spirit, or a speaker, or a 5 bucks bill, or a belt, or map, or a shredder, or a table, but anyway, I will go. . . . . . . . but I'll feel alone.

Now that Strato has reunited, I promise to enjoy their show in September on my birthday, in Montreal, and maybe also in Toronto... Not very hard to keep this promise
@Equinox: Don't worry, I went to Sonata's concert alone... Waiting to get in can feel weird, but once you are in, you'll enjoy the concert, trust me.

Equinox, believe me, I know what you feel, but hey, if no one else is going, you should go anyways. I really enjoyed Sonata's concert... True, I had no one to talk to about it, but nevertheless I had a great time! Sometimes you have to do these things on your own; it's better than not doing them at all (although I know sometimes it's really hard to find motivation). So, I will go to Rhapsody's and HammerFall's concert on my own, and I'll have a good time. Equinox, you really should go to Rhapsody's concert! Do it for yourself!!

Sorry to be the voice of darkness here, but i just don't understand WHY the hell anyone would go to a concert to hang out with people they would hang out with normally anyway? To me that's just distraction.

IMHO, a concert is better, if your friends are there as well, but of course, the most important is the band. I would go to a Stratoconcert even if my friends didn't come (that could not happen anyway).

I agree. I traveled alone from Peru to Argentina (5 hours by plane) to attend the Iron Maiden's show last year, without knowing anybody there, and it was the best show ever!
And people were friendly, I made new friends while waiting on the row, and after the gig, we all went for pizzas and beers!
Rock On!

Indeed, even if your friends arent there, you can alway make new ones at a metal show

That's the spirit Equinox!
I also hope to find more Rhapsody fans since I don't like Manowar at all.

Let's bump this topic.
There's only one week left, and I learned most of the StratoSongs. I still have problem with many of them btw, as I don't know perfectly all the words. But the refrains are in my mind.

I fullfilled my promise. I knew every song. I had problems only with Twilight Symphony and only in Vienna... I somehow started to mix up the lines.

But that was all.

Practice a lot, you will do that soon if you practice. Hope you be lucky with your band
Promise: a) I will learn all the songs of Stratovarius.
b) I will learn the keyboards of Black Diamond (I know the half of the song, so is not so difficult but that part with the synth, in the middle of the song...is so hard...Jens is God), and then, I'll look for the partitures of the other songs
c) If they come to Colombia, I'll be the first in line, even if I have to start in the line the day before. Plus: I'll go to the hotel to have pics with them, then I'll go to the line to be the first (pretty hard here)
d) someday, somehow, I will visit Finland.

Wow! Good and some of them are difficult promises. The last one won't be easy, as you need both lot of time and money. But if you can find a job there, then there'll be a reason to move to Finnland.
About the songs: it's not so difficult as it first seems, but of course, you have to concentrate only on the music, while you are learning them. There were songs, that I could learn really so easy, but others were like impossible, I had to listen to them many times (i.g: Witch Hunt... damn, Tolkki sings so fast).

That's 'cause Timo is great.
And, yeah, I hope to find a job in Finland, so I can movbe there, or spend some vacations, at least.

And how about coming to some metal festivals like Tuska and WOA? We could meet in Wacken.
