Dreamspace is absolutely one of the best Strato albums ever! For example Fright Night is not that good... Dreamspace is also better than Elements pt 1..

What ? Dark ? I`m sorry, but Dreamspace isn`t dark at all. Visions is dark, well most of Visions, but not Dreamspace. And I would say Dreamspace IS mainstream.KevinMoore wrote:Dreamspace is diferent, more progresive, more dark, more atmosferic, more diverse, not a maistream, comercial album.
Dreamspace is the best track of Stratovarius in mi opinion.

Re: Dreamspace
To me 030366 sounds very much like a nod towards Rage For Order -era Queensrÿche, and I have to like it for that. Queensrÿche was a great band, and I suppose TT would agree with me on this. (??)
I don't listen to the Fourth Dimension album that much though, I think it tries very hard to be what Episode eventually was.

I´ve said more dark than others, songs like Dreamspace, Thin Ice, Atlantis, Abyys, Fourth Reich, Magic Carpet Ride, Reign of Terrors, Shattered, Tears of Ice.Bryant wrote:What ? Dark ? Allright, sorry for missunderstanding you. And yeah, Atlantis, that one is kind of dark, the intro of Abyss to, maybe Reign of terror, but the rest, no.KevinMoore wrote:

Dark songs on the Visions album for me: The Kiss of judas, their darkest ever, then yes Black diamond a little bit too, Before the winter, The abyss of your eyes, Holy light a bit, Paradise a tiny bit, Coming home is sad, not dark, and Visions is a bit dark, too. But you know those discussions are difficult, because those things " is a song dark, sad, epic, happy" are different to anyone. So, of course, I believe you when you say, Dreamspace is dark for you.

Well, I also understand and i agree with you when you say that songs like Black Diamond, Before the Winter or The Kiss of Judas have sad or dark elements.Bryant wrote:

Yes, for me not only Atlantis, intro of Abyss or Reign of Terrors have dark elements, other songs like Thin Ice, Dreamspace, Fourth Reich or Magic Carpet Ride have this kind of elements, but how you´ve said this perceptions are different to anyone.

Re: Dreamspace
So, tell me, can you "name" a specific part or element of Magic carpet ride, that is dark for you ? Haven`t heard it in a while, but I never thought there is something dark in it.KevinMoore wrote:
