i love stratosphere!!!! seeing as it was the first strato song i heard and one of the few i can actually play that would be it

But I like very much the final part of Mother Gaia...if you want it's very simple but in my opinion is great...

Holy Light cuz I showed it to the dudes that are stuck in the (primitive) age of punk music *shruders* and they nearly had a seizure. One of them even said Jens made his tone via-CPU. I wacked the back of his head so hard he fell to the ground, while siting.

Well, I already posted, that I think "Holy light" is the best one. I think all Strato instrumental songs are really great, except the ones of Fright night and Stratofortress, that one is really boring.
Well, just wanted to say, that I think "Episode" is really cool, I think no one has mentioned it before.

Don´t you mean, "Best instrumental song", coz if is music i presume that its The strings and synths;But in the other hand i think is "STRATOVARIUS"

Holy Light is the best, Stratovarius is the most diversified, Stratofortress is the fastest, Fire Dance is the first, Stratosphere is on the best Stratovarius album, Atlantis is the most acoustic, Requiem is the most classical and Metal Frenzy kicks ass

But the best instrumental tracks are on the Classical Variations And Themes, by Timo Tolkki!

Damn it, I totally forgot about "Requiem". Of course, that one is awsome.

Time to wake up some old topics...

I choose Holy Light. With some incredible fast parts, ballad lines, slooow ending and awesome start this is brilliant song!

If Episode could be bit longer and "more complicated", it could one of the best songs they have ever done. Now it's "just" great.
Their other instrumentals are too quite goods... Stratovarius, Stratosphere and Stratofortress are all "OK-songs" and Requiem is awesome at live audience in Visions of Europe. But in Intermission that song just... I can't explain.

They have also some not so good instrumentals, like Metal Frenzy. Even Twilight Time is so f*cking great album, Metal Frenzy is the only weak song on it.
And Atlantis is just horror to me... (I don't explain again of this song, I have done it so many times before). We all should (I too...) remember that everything that anyone in this forum says, is just their own opinions.
Now I'm speaking like some teacher to you...

Well, I hope that Stratovarius will do some new instrumentals in future. They give nice "break" to the albums, like ballads. They give the balance to the album. And that mades my day.

btw: listen to the episode instrumental, and then to the second part of destiny.. i think it sounds quite similar

Have you heard Requiem? They used it as intro for the visions tour Of course, the best instrumental for me is holy light. Proportionaly, there should be another amazing instrumental in the next strato album.

Yes, of course it is. Strange that they don't use it live...
Also I think that Holy Light is some kind of intro to Paradise.
