Now that Fourth Dimension has arrived, I pretty much agree with your rankings. I'm not sure if Episode is equal to Visions but it is good!

I started with "Destiny", immediately bought "Infinite", and one week later sold most of the rest of my music collection so that I could order all the others. When they came in, I lent "Fright Night", "Episode" and "Fourth Dimension" to one of my closest friends. That was almost two years ago. I STILL haven't gotten to hear those! Guess I'd better re-order!

I first heard Stratovarius when I heard their song SOS on the metal station when I had direct tv. I immediately ordered their cd. My ex made fun of them and that is one of the reasons why she is my ex.lol

Fright Night: 3/5
Twilight Time: 3/5
Dreamspace: 5+/5
Fourth Dimension: 4/5
Episode: 5/5
Visions: 5/5
Destiny: 4/5
Infinite: 3.5/5
Elements I: 2/5
Elements II: 2/5

Not much to say here but I liked there middle years. Tolkki also had a very good voice for songs like 4th reich and did a very good job of dreamspace IMO. Dreamspace for me was the best album. It may have not have every best song strato has done but it was an album that had very good album structure. The album was by far the best put together. It Had Very good connecting underlying themes and emotional feelings.

Thats my 2 cents

I don't see how anyone can say that Elements part 2 is better than part one, with songs like Eagleheart, Soul of a Vagabond, Learning to fly and Elements.

Also, I don't see how visions is so much better than Elements part 1.

I am knew to Stratovarius and I think that they are amazing. I know that I am not long a fan but I am going to say that Elements part 1 is better because I am in love with the song Eagleheart.
