i couldnt watch it all, i felt sick. that poor creature on the floor, living, breathing, blinking and then to have its fur ripped from it was too much to take in.
my little baby cat, Rags, is sat on my knee and i just couldnt imagine some dick doing what i saw on there, to her. [i know its not quite the same but shes still a living being.]

Turn on the evening news any day of the week to see far more horrifying things.

I dislike inhumanity to animals. I love animals.

Man's inhumanity to man however is what really makes me sad. I don't even watch the news anymore, I can't take it.

man, this kind of things really makes me lose faith in humanity, if you ABSOLUTLY MUST (for whatever insane, cruel or idiotic a reason) own fur, then at least make the guys who make them be more humane, i mean, only people can be that cruel...

I would be sad if someone grabbed me by the legs, banged me on the ground until i only twitched and then cut my skin off my body while i'm paralized, and alive to feel it. To me that would be classified as something i like to call "a bad day".

This way where humans beings treat the animals so bad are the reflection what they are.

My major problem with it is the fact that, if you must kill those animals, there are humane ways to do it. An injection, carbon monoxide, even a bullet to the head. It seemed like those guys were getting off on doing that to those raccoons. I don't think that the furs value would change by killing the animals humanely. That begs the question, "Why were those animals killed in that manner?!" Thats what I find sick.

Like Dragon, I pictured my own cat being tortured like that and it disturbed me on that level.

I am not against the sale of fur or leather and I enjoy steak, chicken, and seafood. That said, I think that there are humane ways to do things, and those methods should be implemented. All life on this planet needs to be respected.

I think, the reason is, that this inhuman/inanimal way doesn't cost anything ,while using an injectiopn costs n*x, where n is the number of racoons and x is the price of each injection.

What I meant was that if we are going to use animals for their skins, and even for food, the methods in which the animal is dispatched should be humane.

Like I stated previously, I cannot speak out against the trafficking of fur due to the fact that I own a leather jacket, etc. It would make me a hypocrite. It would make anyone a hypocrite. An animal met it's fate to make that jacket the same way animals meet their fate for their fur. I didn't say it's right, in fact I said that , I, we, are all part of the problem. I said that there has to be a happy medium.

I don't think it is wrong to use animals for their skin or fur, or for food, so long as the process is painless for the animal, and done in moderation. Life has to be respected.

In order for anything to exsist on this planet, something else must die, be it animals, plants, or in some cases people.

Nothing I said condoned the actions of those assholes who I feel were getting off on inhumanely slaughtering those raccoons.

I think the human being is cruel since a lot of centuries, with humans and animals..
If we think for example to the middle age, a lot of black cats have been tortured and burned in Europe because they were considered like the symbol of hell, the bad spell..
