There is something in pure chocolate that helps relieve depression--it actually makes people feel good&not just because it tastes delicious. So, maybe doctors should push chocolate instead of those prescription drugs that have so many potential side effects. The only side effect from too much chocolate is maybe a little weight gain&that can be taken care of.

Oh I agreee, by the way, I bought a pound of pure chocolate las week, 7 bucks, but it damn worth it. It's still in the fridge. And now that u mention that, I should get another bit. No, I'm not deprressed. And I wish chocolate would give me some more weight. I need it.

And chocolate is actually quite beneficial to the body, a lot of energy, great taste, and i have also learned it helps depression! only bad part is that you gain a rubber tire

Of course you can't drink too much when you're sad or stressed... the consequences may leave you with a terrible moral hangover on the next day

And chocolate... I don't like candies, sugar and stuff, so, I really don't mind. I usually drink coffee without sugar, so I can taste it better.

Cristiane@: Ummm...but the coffee don't hurt you more than the Alcohol. Anyway sometimes the alcohol is the best option... I guess.

You can mix it all together: Stir some sugar, cocoa, and cream into coffee--then, add about an ounce of brandy. You will sleep like a baby! The brandy cancels out the caffiene effects.

No, but it doesn't make me get fat either

Seriously, beer can inflate you like a bubble, but it also depends on the things you eat while you drink it... salty things retain lots of water in your body, so that's why I prefer vodka and distilled drinks in general - the amount of carbos/water is lower.
Also, so far I regret nothing I did while I was drunk... so it made me no bad at all

Beer tends to act as a diuretic, and I never eat when I'm drinking because it tends to slow down the buzz! But, calorie per ounce-wise, liquor is much more fattening than beer--most liquors are 100+calories an ounce, while beer is about 150 calories per 12 ounces. Maybe I'm different, but it only takes about 3 beers to get me high, so I never overindulge calorie-wise.
