And not Anastacia too. Never. IMHO I can´t stand her voice at all.

But better Anastacia instead of Dani Filth... She has a good voice but not for metal

TT said he liked Shania Twain--what about her? She could cross over. Music genres, I mean. And she is a MAXIM&STUFF model.

*Why do they call that mag, STUFF, anyway

Anyway, there should be a great variety of singers on this album.
Maybe TT could do a duet with some of these people.

That´s only my opinion but I think the key intro of 4000 Rainy Nights reminds me of the intro of one Shania Twain hit. But cannot remember the name of the song.

I guess a lot of people could be banned then...lol!
Even if some ideas or suggestions there are nice like Dio, Dickinson, or Kiske for example, i think that only Stratoguys will know and decide who they want to invite as a guest!

Duhhhhhhh! Of course it is up to the StratoGuys to choose--I don't think anyone is saying otherwise

We are just having a little fun with this topic--the world ain't gonna come to an end&its still legal to just discuss the possibilities, AFAIK!

1. DIO
2. Amy Lee
3. Kiko Loureiro
4. Andre Matos or Olaf Hayer
5. Anders Friden or Mikael Stanne
6. Russell Allen
7. Luciano Pavarotti
8. Ann Wilson (Heart)
9. Jani Liimatainen
10. Tony Kakko

I'd like everyone in the world as guest before choosing dani 'rat voice' filth

Kristin Lamb or Robin Wiper, for female choices.
Kristin has been compared to Tarja, voice-wise&Robin is a professional opera singer. Both these ladies are singers for Andrew Bordoni's band, Earthcubed--who are the rising stars of the progressive genre.
And both Kristin&Robin are very pretty, young blondes!

My fantasy lady, Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil would be MY first choice as a guest. She sings beautifully. And, along with Shania Twain is a sexy Stuff model. I know that has nothing to do with their singing, but can you tell me that all that press "exposure" did not help their career?

I'd love to see a guitar duel between Jani Liimatainen, Tolkki and Weiki (Micheal Weikath from Helloween)
And Dio, Kiske, Dickinson and Kakko are excellet potential guests

I do hear you!! That's one of my dreams as well... but I don't think that would work, i do see how Weiki and TT would work together at all.
btw, Weiki will be playing here saturday (along with Helloween, of course), can't wait for that!!

@SETH: actually that's it about, if you bring predictable singers as guests musicians (sopranos, mezzosopranos, etc) there'll be not much surprise on it, but, if you bring on people whos are able to put its own personal style and not the typical "metal" style then you'll get a true support for the album.
A great example, Pavarotti and U2 singing Miss Sarajevo, a mixture of two complete different genres...what's the result? and exotic and exquisit song.
So you are right my friend

, i support your choice

I have seen Andi once at a Helloween-Gig. Here are any reasons why I am not a big fan of him:
- He is NOT a member of Helloween since the begin of the band, but he kicked out the last original members (except Weiki). other words: He thinks he is the boss, but he isn't, definitively!
- At the gig, he told some funny jokes but some of them were dull and ridicolous. I mean really dull and stupid!
- and: They played old songs, but Deris never reached the high voices... What a shame!
- WHY *must* be there a Keeper 3? I can't understand why the saga have to continue.
- The Comparison will ever be between Kiske and Deris... That's it. Same by Nightwish when they have a new vocalist.

You've forgotten Markus Grosskopf...He's in the band since the beginning too!

There was some comparisons between Angra and Shaaman too...
Every singer is different. After the tastes and the colors...

I don't think that was only a Deris decision... I remember the interviews I read by that time and the big problem was between Grapow and Weiki. Grapow wanted to make helloween sound different, accusing Weiki of being lazy and other stupid statements. I even remember Weiki told them if they wanted he could leave his own band and start another one with Markus.
So, I don't think Deris had a very important role on what happened, besides, Uli and Grapow wasn't original band members as well.
I'm not a huuuge fan of Deris, but I think he just fit helloween very well... it would be nice to hear he singing with Koti after all

@Nepi: No problem.
@On topic: I remember when Andi was invited as a guest for the show of Shaaman in Brazil to sing "Eagle Fly Free" with Andre Matos and Tobias Sammet, he couldn't simply hit the high notes. Maybe he couldn't do it or he was sick, but well i don't think so, i think he couldn't reach the high notes cause it's not his so high vocal tessiture compared to Andre and Tobias.
Andi has a lower rangevoice than the others and also Michäel Kiske.

Why do sigers have to reach high notes to be considered good? Koti, Kakko and Deris sound a lot better when they sing at a mid level
