But, now that there is a Democratic Congress, maybe something productive will be done.
Not only Hilary is running for President, but maybe Al Gore! So, there WILL be many good changes made if......
I really hope Al Gore will be the next one. And if it will be Hilary, then she can have her revenge:) hahaha.

Well, I just read on msnbc that John "Lurch" Kerry is NOT running this time. :(
I guess the Ketchup business is good/profitable enough, I guess. <sigh>

I wonder what this campaign will be like without his firm, strong sense of vision and iron conviction on important issues.

(and yes, the sarcasm is just dripping off that sentence for those who are unsure :D)

I think the Secret Service just found the three Purple Heart medals that Kerry threw over the fence at the White House during his post-Vietnam hippie days, and the agents are videotaping the whole thing for the 2008 campaign,(just in case). ;)

And we need a neo-Nazi skinhead who gets off by reading Mein Kampf. They always add a kick to the party! And have him debate a Jew at some point.

I'd seriously tune into that!

Tim McVeigh is dead, but Randy Weaver&David Duke are still alive. Maybe they will be interested. :D

Seriously, not many folks in USA espouse those ideas--at least in public. There are still quite a few cults that revolve around these screwy ideas&the KKK is still alive(a little bit-- especially in Pulaski, Tennessee), but for the most part even "rednecks" know better than to believe in such garbage. And if they do, they keep it to themselves in their own circle.

Shame. I want an election with REAL nuts running. They're just more fun! :D

I'd rather vote for Jens for that job! :D A bottle of ABSOLUT in every frig! That would be a great campaign promise! :D

Wait a minute----there are no actors in the campaign. ???
Of course, being a politician&actor are essentially the same thing! =P

Actually, the fact that Arnold the Terminator is not a native-born citizen was part of the reason he did not run. ??? Maybe we should count our blessings! :D

Especially on environmental issues. But that's hardly a surprise, his advisor on these things is of Finnish descent. :)

Arnie is not a stupid man. Having big muscles doesn't automatically mean you have banana-shaped brains.

I loved how he called some Democrats "girly men".

Who gives a rat's ass if she knows the words (or whatever was wrong with her performance) or not? I certainly wouldn't...

People should mind her opinions on real, serious issues instead of such trivialites. People really should unfuck themselves if they actullay let things like this affect their opinion of a candidate.

Although not knowing the national anthem when one is in a publicly-elected office is a bit embarassing. And frankly stupid.

True, many people get blinded by trivialities ("Omg he had a divorce once!!!" "In such and such date, they got a parking ticket!") and it's quite pathetic.

Republican party has a new candidate, Mr. Huckabee, who is the governor of Arkansas. He is famous for losing a whole lot of weight&being the bass player in a band. Sounds cool. But I'm going to have to do some research on his political stance on several issues.

Ha ha- I think that he said words to the effect that if the Democrats in the state legislature at Sacramento didn't vote for a balanced budget that he would publicly proclaim them to be "little girly men ". :)

I would vote for the Governator, if we had a constitutional amendment that allowed him to run for the White House.

A humorous quote that I saw in regards to Decision 2008:

"The world is the Not OK Corral right now, and we need both Wyatt Eaarp and Doc Holiday to ride into town, kick some butt, and take some hypenated names"

- Dennis Miller, regarding candidates in the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

I don't think Miller was referring to Iraq. :err:

If Dennis Quaid is Wyatt Earp&Val Kilmer is Doc Holiday they can both ride into my town any 'ol day! =P
And I will personally make for them some Homemade ChickenNDumplings, and give them a good place to sleep for the night. =P
