Total: 4504 bands

now thats one big ass metal archive

http://www.metal-archives.com/

should keep anyone busy to find their favorites
It also gives the bands lyrical theme too which is great for what Frightnight was looking for.

I remember reading this thread before registering into these forums.
Actually I think that Excalion is simply the best overall band around there right now.
I have never waited an album like their next one.
Primal Exhale was good but Waterlines was even better.
I like Visions and Waterlines just as much.
They have received good reviews with the second album Waterlines but still they haven't founded a strong fanbase yet.
They have potential to be something big. a lot of people state that they don't bring anything new to the genre but I disagree. Waterlines as a complete album had a large variety and some real killer songs with no weak ones.
Heart&Home is one of the best ballads ever written.
Between the Lines is one of the best fast songs ever written. and Soaking ground, Wingman and Losing Time are just great in other terms.
The singer is superb. He has a really strong voice and he still can sing extremely high ( The Wingman for example)

This is Soaking Ground a great song

Here we have their 2 videos and few good songs.
Beaware though that Dire Waters doesn't open to you that fast. it still is awesome.

No one mentioned At Vance jet? A very good german Neo-Classical Power Metal Band founded by Olaf Lenk. Check them out. They're awesome!

Wnd why the hell does no one mention Domain? They were a Hard Rock Band in the late 80s and Early 90s and then split. Since they've Reunited in 2000 they do awesome Power Metal.
