I think the words "reliable source" make up one of the most mis-used phrases in the English language.

Pretty much synonymous with "rumor" in my experience.

"Publicity stunt" can get added to that list. Or maybe I am at fault at that one for thinking that chronological order matters or that publicity means more than 4 people hearing about something. Or it could be I just can’t imagine the members would go so low to pull off the medical scams and court scams necessary to make it all a stunt.

Human nature is a funny thing.
If we like a person people tend to believe anything that they tell, even if its a baldface outright lie.
But, if people do not like someone, even if the person tells the truth, people won't believe them.
Also, if the rumor is about someone we like(even if what is said is TRUE)we don't want to believe it&we shoot the messenger.
If God in the flesh came to this forum and posted the truth about all these matters not many people would believe Him, especially if people did not like what He said. :)

So, actually a rumor itself is not what we believe is being told, it matters most WHO is telling, and WHO its about, that we consider whether its true or not.
Nice going, folks.

And, Morko has proven himself reliable whether anyone CHOOSES to believe him or not.
Time reveals all things, and time is the best truthteller of all. Of course, even then, many won't believe the truth if it hit them in the face.

Morko has some reliability and some commentary mixed in. Reliability of information can only go so far as political debates show us when everyone uses their own facts and their own definitions for words. Crying wolf goes both ways and evidence never hurts.

It depends of the sort of evidence you receive. Some can really hurt. Especially if they kill your belief in your own picture of truth.

Thats true.

@exe knight, you&icecab21 prove my words exactly. :)
You can't handle the truth, yet you cannot fight it when it proves itself. So, go ahead&post those childish, stupid pictures---they don't mean shit. :D

But, if I were you 2 I wouldn't take Morko too seriously either. That way it won't hurt too much when what he says proves to be true! :D

Well beg is the bringer of truth and the messenger of the real world. When god needs straight talk he goes to beg.
If someone if correct 100 times in a row yet never gives evidence, one cannot be positive if the 101 statement is true.
There is a difference between believing and knowing.

No. Not hardly. Harper Valley is a fictional Southern town in a 1970s song by Jeannie C. Riley. :)

this town has a sod farm and was the birth place of a kkk founder.

This is in contrast with rr where noone in that group is from canada or alabama, runs a sod farm, or was a founder of the kkk.

Some people say this and some people say that. It's really funny because we just had a discussion in my English class about celebrities, musicians, athletes, etc... if they would either be role models or not. Each of us made a speech and I voted for no. However, it depends on the person who you are dealing with. You're not going to compare Britney Spears to any Stratovarius member. It also depends if that person who we follow is really doing it for us, themselves, or for money. Until right role models can be differed from those wrong role models, fans will always be deluded. (That last sentence was my last sentence in that speech I made) :)

:? Icecar 112, you wrote that RR-forum had no sodfarms and are not members of KKK. Are you sure? Have you any evidence of that? 100% proofs? What about miss KKK? And wasnt it a better idea if some of the persons there-Harvester for ex- started a sodfarm instead of writing stupid things?

How could a forum on the internet have a farm????? If you mean the participants in the forum, I guess I could ask but that whole post was mainly for the Canadian parody website.
I said RR forum did not the founder of the KKK and since he died in 1945, I call that a safe bet.
Harvester might as well be productive and start a sod farm. If he was in America now would be a great time since the politicians are porking their way to yes votes. If alcohol companies can get such a boost from our financial crisis, I’m sure sod farmers can as well as long as they have funded a politician

You actually took the time to look all that stuff up. Congratulations! But, I am from this place: City of Florence, Alabama U.S.A.
http://www.florenceal.org/
Which is nicked, Renaissance City. :) 1/2 of RR. :D
Wanna look Florence, AL up? Go ahead. You'll find that it is no parody.
As for that town about the sod farmer I have never heard of it, but thanks for the reference because its now on my list of places not to visit. :D

Oh, this is the Harper Valley I was referring to:

LOL! Yeah, Renaissance Tower is something else. The "UFO" thing is a revolving restaurant with overinflated prices but a great view of the Tennessee River.
Oh, Indian Mound museum and Helen Keller's birthplace are interesting tourist attractions, too, not to mention that a famous recording studio is in the area. Then, there is the great Lynrd Skynrd Band. :D famous for the song "Sweet Home Alabama", and 3 Miss America's in the past 25 years or so have been Miss Alabama. Finally, Courtney Cox is an Alabama native. So, not all Alabamians are like Goober and Gomer Pyle characters.

It's short of like a mini me to my space needle in seattle. I just wonder how many ufo reports are being coming in from the country and seeing that tower at night with it's lights.
Beuty queens seem to be the next thing in american politics. A communications degree is the new law degree.

maybe tolkki is seeing palins popularity and decided to put everything else on hold until he can get hair like hers

EVERYONE IS SICK OF THIS BULLSHIT. THIS THREAD FAILS AND IS NOW ABOUT HOT FEMALE-POLITICIANS

There is not too much point in RR until they decide to talk and after they get done with previous commitments. There is nothing wrong with a politician being good looking, just with one that has mannerisms that are more about attraction than leadership qualities. It’s strange to see someone smile and wink as they talk about foreign policy issues that are a threat to the security of the world.
