OK, i'll put it delicately:

I do not like the album nor Tolkki's playing. I think he can do far better than what he does nowadays. Unless he's run out of inspiration.

as a tolkki fan is a hard thing to accept, but tolkki has ran out of inspiration quite sometime ago, we only get shades of what used to be a metal genious. still I got my copy of Fourth Dimension to enjoy

The album keeps growing on me. I like it a lot. I think it is a fantastic debut for this band.
Alayna is a masterpiece for me.

I've been listening again, and again, and again, and again. I like the music. I really do.

But Matos... I can't stand his voice. The lack of vibrato makes me cringe everytime. I can't get into his voice.

Two days to the release!! Can't wait!

I heard this morning, in order:

Fourth Dimension - Elements 2 - Visions - Twilight time.

and then, I went to listen again to this album.

two things I can say for sure:
1) If it were a Stratovarius album, I'd be ashamed.
2) Tolkki's run out of inspiration. I took albums within a decade, and Timo did a wonderful job on those 4 albums. From 1992 to 2003, for not being only concentrated on a short period of time. He would be ashamed too if he composed this even for the self-titled 2005 album.

I noticed that too. I really did!

I haven't listened to it carefully yet, but to me it follows the RR style, what is good to me because I like all their albums. Nothing to with Strato style.
Furthermore, I have to get used to listen to these songs sung by a different voice and not Gus anymore.
It's like listening to Sammet.

Haha! I tend to use Dutch writing/talking manners sometimes. But I think my English is quite good for a Dutch law student.

I just listened to in Paradisum and I can say, that it's a brilliant album. The production, mixing and mastering is perfect. Timo and Mikko does killer solos on that album and Andre sounds great as well as the whole band. Thanks to Symfonia guys to that brilliant album!

Yeah, Alayna is probably my favourite song of In Paradisum. Makes me think to my girlfriend.

I agree with you, very good album

I think it is a very good album. but there are a few fillers here.

my favoorite track is Rhapsody in black!
