I like Vintage stuff. You know, Retro. Like Vintage clothes, Vintage Cars, Vintage Furniture, Vintage Porn, Vintage Decor, Vintage Music.

I like Yard sales and Flea Markets and sidewalk sales and comb them for this stuff. For instance, those beaded curtains that hippie used to use? I have a whole wall of them on one side of my bedroom. Plus an old lava light and a strobe that still works. I am now on the lookout for one of those Disco balls, the kind with mirrored lights that were popular in the John Travolta/Stayin' Alive Era. Antiques are really cool, too. I found a little table at a moving sale last year that dated back to 1930s, with the bearclaw feet on the legs. Pretty good shape and cheap. I'm scavenging for a cool magazine rack, and/or bookcase now! I want to Lacquer something red.
Retro clothes and jewelry is great if ya can find them in good condition. Not too often, I'm afraid. I have a jewelry rool filled with old costume stuff, with rhinestones I found at a charity store. I cleaned them and they sparkle plenty, but look garish and cheap. Pretty to look at but not to wear. Only gun molls would!
