Also you forget somthing, Industry is not in the position of sign new bands for millions of dollars, EVERYONE AROUND THIS BAND IS TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING BY MUSIC, even Timo, who made the biggest mistake of his life disbanding his own band, is breaking his ass to make some decent metal songs just to make some money. Also the actual Strato guys are trying the same with dignity and honor, writing excelents albums (believe it or not, are very good), maybe they can't copy the classic Stratovarius era, but at least they aren't trying to...they are musicians with some history, trying to make a good living

Yes, I am not trying to pretend like Timo is some god. More like a prophet, I think. He is closer to Mohammed than Allah. He has a gift of communicating very peaceful messages but that does not mean that he doesn't make mistakes.
Difference is that Tolkki corrects his mistake and it seems that the Stratovarius mistake is still touring. Go figure....

How can you know this?
I think Timo is living quite comfortably and not trying to force music, like the current immoral Stratovarius lineup. He is just writing from the heart because he must express himself.
I simply say that money should not have any place in music. Any time money crosses music, it is pure evil. We know that Tolkki is living a very pure life now, because his albums do not sell so much. And that was his genius plan the whole time...
Also the actual Strato guys are trying the same with dignity and honor, writing excelents albums (believe it or not, are very good), maybe they can't copy the classic Stratovarius era, but at least they aren't trying to...they are musicians with some history, trying to make a good living
If you call the crackhead Pelican "dignity and honor" then you are truly a blind fan and will never see the truth. You should listen maybe some Death Metal
And of course they cannot copy Stratovarius era. They have tried and failed...

I'd like to add that the reason I like "Elysium" is that the music sounds good to me. The reason I like "In Paradisium" is, surprisingly enough, that the music sounds good to me.
I'm not in a position to know which band has morally better musicians simply because I don't personally know any of the people involved. I'm also firmly of the opinion that if one believes it's possible to make an in depth analysis of someone just by reading some interviews, press statements etc. and analyzing the cover art of their albums, he's being a good fool. (Or a fairly good troll.)

Also is true that In Paradisum is a decent album, but i'm absolutely sure that the next one will blow us away, the only thing that can save the future of Symfonia is being open to Andre Matos and Harkin compositions. I loved both solo albums of Matos, Mentalize is a brilliant power metal album, really fresh. and in the other hand I love Mehida, a really good proggy band.
Nevertheless.....I hate Papillon.
