Yes, it was changed to 2CD+1DVD some days ago (it was originally 2CD+2DVD, don't know why the label cut one DVD out).
Catalogue Number: VIZP-109
Barcode: 4988002619504
And the price is about 6825 yen, quite expensive.
And also, another coming release from earMusic/Edel is an Infinite & Intermission 2-in-1 set.
Release Date: July 20, 2012
Catalogue Number: 0208088ERE
Barcode: 4029759080886

It's clear that Stratovarius is renewed and with a lot of freshness since polaris days (and more since Elysium) and Edel is really trusting in this guys. They know the potential Stratovarius have. These kind of fantastic gifts like live releases of that magnitude never happened before with this band. Can't wait seriously, can't wait to see them again live, to buy the bluray and the next album!!

From the nice folks at record-shop X:
Hello good sirs,
Do you happen to have any information on the region coding, if any, on the DVD and Blu-ray releases of this upcoming video? I live in the United States, and along with several other non-European Stratovarius fans on their official forums am wondering if I will be able to play either of these without having to use some kind of computer circumvention. Thanks for any info.
Hi,
The screen format is PAL and region for both dvd and bluray is "0".
Yours,
Timo, X
Region 0 means that the disc is not restricted, however PAL format means people with NTSC TV systems cannot watch it on set-top players, as far as I know.

Bockrocker: Keep in mind that a lot of NTSC TVs actually support the PAL format, especially modern TVs.
For the bluray, you won't have to worry about the format in the slightest due to the fact that 720p, 1080i and 1080p are all displayed identical in PAL or NTSC. I have experience from this as I'm from England and we brought over all of our PS3 games and some region free blurays and they all work fine.

If you have a player that can play PALs, it should be able to show fine on your regular TV. I've had a DVD player that is compatible with PALs for 10 years and have been able to watch it on all of my TV sets.

Does anyone else feel his/her heart missing a beat during the first seconds? That's so exciting, feels great to know that we're able to see more of that at home in just a few days! And brings back such great memories of the best short trip I did in my life :luv1:

Browneyed: Try Century Media, they usually are the quickest when it comes to bringing the awesome European music to their American fans.

How did Infernal Maze not make the setlist? That's crap

^No kidding; I could live without the cover songs, in favor of some more of their own stuff!

Perhaps the fact that Infernal Maze works so well as an opening show song affected on the decision of 'non-playing that song'. The new intro is mindblowing and perhaps it suggested more to band members in the way that the intro seems to mean "a journey through all those years" which fits perfectly with the meaning of the Farewell Tour.
On the other hand it's true that Infernal Maze is a masterpiece that should be included on that setlist, perhaps as an encore song.
Taking everything tinto account it's obvious that in some ways there was a weak balance between old and new songs and I hope that during the nextt tours they'll introduce more new stuff: King Of Nothing, Forever Is Today, Move The Mountain, Higher We Go or Infernal Maze had been on some setlist during those years.

Honestly, I'm pretty happy with the set list as it is. The cover songs are pretty damn good choices!

That's true, I can live with the omission of this or that song when it boils down to it.
They played "King of Nothing" when I saw them back in '09 so hopefully they'll add it on to the setlists again for the next tour.

Just because there are those random one or two things we would have liked to see on the DVD, doesn't mean we are complaining or would not buy the DVD or like it as it is. This is a *discussion* forum, which means we *discuss* our opinions about such things. I'm sure there are people here that do not like every single album, but I would never accuse them of not being "real fans" just because they may dislike something that I don't, or vice-versa.

You can criticize as much as you want, BUT do not start before the DVD is OUT. That sounds so pretentios and show-off. And this is my discussionopinion.
