My signature is taken from a Stratovarius song.The song is "Wings Of Tommorow" and is in the album Dreamspace.I really like its lyrics and if i remember correctly it was the official song in European Basketball Championship that was held in Athens

It could well have been..it's weird i was reading my Bible, as i usually do...and the way some of the stuff is written you could easily put it into a power metal song...maybe i'll do that

Unfortunately most Christian bands are AWFUL. It's hard to diss people who mean so well but... 99% of them are just pure rubbish.

One notable exception is Saviour Machine, they're excellent atmospheric goth-style metal band. Worth checking out.

And the lyrics of many Savatage songs can be seen as Christian... as could the lyrics of many Strato songs but then again many Strato songs can be seen as against all that.. confusing (just read the lyrics of Find Your Own Voice and Alpha & Omega for a complete comparison)

I know i was wondering that when i first heard Alpha & Omega...also have you heard the story version of Freedom Call's 'Tears Of Taragon'? They're another band i thought maybe got Christian based lyrics in some songs.

Most Christian metal bands do suck big time! But some of the contemporary rock stuff i think are amazing

Just listen to 'Believe' by Savatage. The best one IMO.

I agree with Timo...if our world will go on in this way, if mankind won't stop to destroy everything, the end is near (or so they say, selling peace with guns...)

Go and buy it! Get 'Streets' by Savatage, it's at all record stores. Either that or a best-of compilation, it's one of their most popular songs
