Wacken is open for 5 days. From this, there are 3 days, that are full of metal and fun. You don't have to rent a hotel, as your ticket lets you stay in the camping area. The ticket itself is about 70euros, if you buy it 9 months in advance (the X-Mas ticket). Later it's about 10-15 euros more... have to check it... 79 euros, without the postage price (more infos on metaltix.com).
But I bet, if you come to Europe, you'd like to look around too, so this is, why you'd need that much money.

Of course, and i would at least visit as much of Germany as possible, let alone other countries
