At least we Americans don't misspell simple words!
Wait! I take that back---I saw on a Forum where some poor guy spelled "there" instead of "their"!

Made me wonder if he was trying to seem uneducated, or what?

I don't treat any song as "cheesy". It's just a song. Do you like it? Ok then.

030366 the chessiest stratovarius song ever!, although the solo is good the lyrics are very weird, and the starting beat is weird to, a very strange song

Infinite -album has the cheesiest lyrics, but musically nothing beat Anthem of the World. Even the title is so cheesy, that I become cry. I even hate that song. Also there is the part what is originally from Night Time Eclipse...

You're confusing "bad" and "cheesy". You can find the song bad if you want but it's definitely not cheesy at all.

Anyway i'll shut up now

I totally agree with you, Symphony X's lyrics are very good, but I think their music is not comparable with Rhapsody's. Luca Turilli writes sagas, more than lyrics

!
But, coming back to the subject, Stratovarius, I really don't think there are what you call "cheesy songs", either. For me there's nothing wrong with the lyrics of Eagleheart, Fantasia (I'm going to watch the Neverending Story!), or any Infinite song (it's the best Strato album in my opinion). The fact that they are very, very positive, or strange, like 030366 or other Dreamspace songs; has nothing to do with cheesy... I'm speaking seriously! (I think I've said something like this in some other topic...)

That guy just can't write lyrics... The Rhapsody lyrics are certainly the worst ever. I much prefer SX (or at least early SX, now it's becoming a lot like Rhapsody). Ad about the music, well I don't think you can even compare those two bands. I think I like both but once again, early SX get my vote.

"Land Of Ice And Snow"
Stratovarius is from Finland.
Okay.
We got it like 10 years ago, just let the idea rest in peace... Still a good song, so it's not that bad...

I'm not sure I've heard a cheesy stratovarius song. There are some I never really liked but I wouldn't say they were cheesy.

Define Cheesy: browneyedgirl's Avatar.

She may be "off the wall" a bit, but she has got "balls"!

NOT literally, of course.
As for the Cheesy songs, I don't think there is any. But people who do not like Power Metal often hurl that term as an insult, and I don't like that.
