My roommate like Godsmack. He bought a live DVD of them and to humor him I sat through it because I am a nice guy. Seriously though, does EVERY SINGLE SONG THEY DO SOUND EXACTLY THE SAME, LOL!!! Then they did this thing where the vocalist got behind a drum kit and started banging away with the bands actual drummer. I'll give them points for that, I haven't heard of a band doing that in a while. He is also into Disturbed. My roommate is a good guitar player (better than either of the guys in these two bands, but not as good as me) so I have him on a diet of Stratovarius, Malmsteen, Vai, Sonata Arctica, Rush, Dream Theater, Yes, Iron Maiden, and Megadeth. He is seeing the light.

What can I say, I am a self admitted music elitist, or snob if you will, LOL

Well I wouldn't say that they sound the exact same, but they do have a habit with those anti-social songs.LOL But seriously this band is a guilty pleasure of mine. However, with the bullshit that Metallica has released in the past 15 years, I would gladly play Faceless anyday over that. The great Metallica has rusted 15 years ago.

Maybe it wasn't the worst live band I've seen, but when I saw Rhapsody live I knew that this band shouldn't perform on stage. I like them, really, I love their music, but they are not a live band. The most ridiculous thing is their live album they're just bringing out.

My first gig was in 1996, Metallica with Corrosion Of Conformity. Used to love Metallica, but seeing them live, they were just awful! :( COC ruled tho! :)
