Aaaaaannnnnnd onwards.

I saw, finally, The Mask Of Zorro today. I've been dying to see that movie; i used to watch Zorro on TV every day after school as a kid.

Was it just me, or did that movie have WAY too much comic relief??

Not just you. But then, it allowed you not to get TOO serious about it, hell it WAS based on a cartoon.

Last film I watched was The Firm. Pretty cool movie.

Just Saw "10 things I hate about you."
It was not that funny in general, but in this one part, this teenage girl delibrately backs into the car of a guy she hates.
At home, his dad is lecturing her and says, "MY INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER PMS!"

Haha, i remember that part. XD

I was sorely disappointed with that movie, mostly because everyone was like "OMG you liek have to see this movie omg omg!!! lsdfjlsdjfjdsf!!!" and it turned out to be quite typical when all was said and done.

Napoleon Dynamite rather disappointed me too. I thought it was because i was expecting the wrong thing. But then i realised that it's a movie with no plot line about a bunch of pathetic people whom i don't care about.

Ever notice how 10 Things I Hate About You has absolutely nothing to do with its title?

The Grudge (american version) - almost frame-by-frame remake of the japanese movie, moderately scary ... The ghosts and their sounds were cool.

The Interpreter
Pretty good political conspiracy thriller starring Sean Penn and Nicole Kidman. It dragged a bit in places, they could have easily cut it down 15 minutes or so. But overall, pretty good.

EDIT:
Since I'm sick today and unable to study, I decided to watch a couple of movies I wanted to see for a long time.
The Aviator - good movie, despite it's length. Very good performance from Leonardo DiCaprio, he's finally turning into great actor.
Stepford Wives - entertaining movie, about a couple with marriage problems that moves into seemingly perfect american town, but not everything there as it seems .... Good performance from Nicole Kidman.

Princess Bride - I've seen it for smth like 3rd time, it gets better and better every time. A classic of cinema, great performance from everyone, especially Mandy Patinkin ("Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die")

Dogville - weird, just weird ... And the ending was brutal, probably the most brutal ending in movie history ...

Blow - a movie about the world of drug dealers, Johnny Depp rules, as always.

Um, i saw that movie at midnight today. You know, that whole 'world premiere' thing. Amazing, really. A real social phenomenon.

Anyhow, as far as i'm concerned, Obi-Wan Kenobi owned that movie.

Went to the theater, as planned.

It was good, the best CGI I've seen after Spidy 2, and I liked the way that Obi-Wan screwed that filthy kid....

And hell there were a lot of disturbing images!

A litle more, and I'd had been rated R.

Star Wars 3:Whatever-the-stupid-name-it-had - this movie is a crime against humanity, I've seen better movies in MST3K ... It's a bunch of random CGI shots connected by horrendous dialogs and an extremely bad acting from everyone, especially the guy that played Anakin, the movie feels like a very bad cartoon with some live actors ... I can't understand how such a good actors as Ewan McGregor and Samuel Jackson agreed to participate in this atrocity ...

Without spoiling too much I'll say that it is as bad as previous two movies, it's basicly more of the same - lots of CGI, bad dialog and bad acting.
Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events - very enjoyable movie, one of the best I've seen in recent years. It's pretty dark, feels like one of Tim Burton's movies. Jim Carrey makes one of his best appearences in his entire career ...

Do you mean movies seen in cinema???

Well, if it's exact, no film seen in cinema...I didn't go to cinema since 5 years...I prefer thousand times to stay at home and watch a DVD...anyway, I will break this "ritual" (the influence of new Andre Matos' band, Shaaman :D ) and go to cinema to see the new "Star Wars"...

National Treasure - boring Indiana Jones rip-off. I bet the movie was financed by History channel, judging by amount of american history bits told there ...
Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels - for zillionth time. I just love this movie, it gets better and better with every viewing, every single line is a classic, every scene is great, the acting is great, the directing, editing ... In short - this is an example of a perfect movie.
