Last month I acquired
- Cain's Offering - Gather The Faithful
- Thunderstone - Dirt Metal
- Anthrax - Among the Living
- Audioslave - Audioslave
- Freedom Call - Dimensions
- Twisted Sister - Come Out and Play
- Virgin Steele - Age of Consent
- Judas Priest - British Steel
- Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
- Tarot - The Spell of Iron and
- Whitesnake - Good to Be Bad.
I'm glad that, apart from two first of the list that are new albums, I spent only under 40 euros to the nine others.

* Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings

I haven't written for some time so...
Testament - Souls of black
Pretty good stuff, I bought this because of the title song which has the coolest intro ever.
Dir en grey - The marrow of a bone
I recently became a fan of this japanese band, great stuff I have to say though the album is pretty dark, twisted, and almost retarded, expect that the lyrics have meanings.
Clever Sleazoid is awesome stuff. <3

Megadeth - Youthanasia, original 1994 CD.
Sounds a lot better than the remixed & remastered version.

Slayer - World Painted Blood.
Holy crap, this album rocks harder than King Kong in a cage

Not so much better, but totally different for sure. I was surprised to hear major differences in my friend's Rust in Peace remastered version and the original. Some places are selling the originals for more now because they are out of print.
Bought the new Slayer. You'll most likely like it if you're a fan. Awesome drumming and heavy driving riffs as usual.

My last purchase wasn't actually an album, but a cassette version of Stratovarius - Episode.

I've been a fan of DT since late 2007 but since I went to see them in August I wanted to buy a few more of their CDs so I knew what I was going to hear beforehand

Hail DT and Dt's fans! I've been hearing them since "Falling Into Fantasy" era (2000, so for almost 9 years

)

The last Dream Theater album I liked was Metropolis. But Awake/Images&Words are classics.
And speaking of classics, I have two questions:
1) Who do you think will win this fight?
2) Is the one in black wearing a bra?

How do you like it? Sucks that I can only find expensive imports of TSO albums in Finland.

Cool, prog nation was one of the best shows of the year from me. Zappa plays Zappa was amazing, and Steve Vai was a guest a the show; Zappa, Steve Vai and John Petrucci came out and did like a mini G3 for 15 minutes or so in LA

Haha, hail for sure! Maybe you've got too much Strato on the brain though; it's falling into infinity brother

I was thinking the black one might, but I noticed that the white one can easily get the black one off his/her feet in that position.

Cradle of Filth - Midian
Actually this was over a month ago, but I had so much to do that I forgot to listen to it more.
It infact is propably the best of theirs, or atleast one of the best among Cruelty and the beast and Damnation and a day.
(well hell yeah I love the other albums too)
Alestorm - Black sails at midnight
This is another kick ass album, not the best I've ever heard, not even close to Korpiklaani (except with a few songs), but this really is awesome album.
This is some stuff that should make one feel alive, (like powermetal but it's not like them atleast not completely.)

Celesty - Mortal Mind Creation
Great stuff
Leverage - Cicus Colossus
Even better. The best album of the year candidate and on of my favourite records of all time.
Fantastic.
