Well I finally bought the homonym Stratovarius album from 2005, & I love it, of course that I already knew the album & had a copy, but nothing is better than to have the originals & officials Cds
Now I only need to buy the first album to complete my collection

And I thought I was the only one here to listen to this great (but underrated) band. Along with "Hyperion", the best album of Manticora ever!

just an oldy one: Holy Diver ( remastered), of Dio. Awesome! More than 25 years, and still sounds fresh, powerful.
Paradise Lost: In Requiem. Since their back to roots, every release is outstanding.

Let's see...
Alestorm - Black sails at midnight
Very nice album, but I think I'll get bored after some listens...
Blind Guardian - A night at the opera
Basic excellent BG, though I think there's too many faster songs, but I'm more than happy with this.
Dark Tranquility - Fiction
My first DT album, pretty good melodeath, maybe abit monotonous (or whatever the word was)
Dir En Grey - Vulgar
This is one of my newest favorite bands, and this album is worth it's reputation, nothing but kickass songs. Obscure <3
Dream Theater - Metropolis pt2
Don't know if it's better this way or live (I didn't buy this earlier because Live scenes from new york had all the songs off the album), either this is definately one of the best albums I've ever heard.
Kreator - Hordes of Chaos
Thanks to my sister and the ex-bassist of Matti Nykänen for getting me this for christmas.
The stuff is awesome, this made my already good christmas even better.
Sonata Arctica - The days of grays
The album doesn't flow very well because of the fast songs at the beginning, but I still like it so far, it does create an atmosphere.
Quess that's all since last time, not sure if I mentioned Alestorm already before...

Either version are awesome. The only thing that the live version has are some solos and duets between songs, the sound is simply wonderful, and also Finally Free's drum solo is soooo much ass kicker. And of course, CD 2 and 3 have the best combination of songs in any DT live concert (recommend listening to "A Change Of Season" in CD 3, you won't regret it)

I´ve just listened one track, and it sounds really good. At last, this guy has founded his own way.

Rotting Christ - Non Serviam: A 20 Year Apocryphal Journey (live DVD + live album)
Brilliant live album from the Greek black metallers. I've seen them live quite a few times already but I never get tired of them, they know how to put on a show.
Also, really great value! 2 DVDs + 2 CDs for 24 euro.

I just picked up the new Slayer album
World Painted Blood.
So far it's been pretty awesome, I have five of their albums and I think they're all pretty thrashy which is what you'd expect from Slayer.
I also picked up a Demons and Wizards double pack which had:
Demons & Wizards - Demons & Wizards
Demons & Wizards - Touched By The Crimson King.
Both amazing albums, featuring the singer from Blind Guardian and Jon Shaeffer of Iced Earth.

Orphaned Land - The Never Ending Way of ORwarriOR
New album, 6 years after the Mabool which a masterpiece and one of the best metal albums ever. The new album is heavier, more progressive and in short - also a masterpiece. Highly recommended. I got the limited edition of it which has a DVD documentary about the making of the album.
