I don't like buying albums if i don't know anything by them! If you send me the track or something i'll delete t if i don't like it..that's what i usually do.

In most record shops you can listen to your stuff before buying it (or not )

I don't go to record shops eBay is now my shop...or other online stuff.

This seems to be the topic for it, so I may as well ask...

I am trying to insert a banner within my signature, I've had no problem putting it on other forums I go onto. When I sent a PM to someone here, the banner came out fine. However, when I try to post here, it shows some weird numeric code between the img and url brackets. Yet when I go to my profile to see if they are there too and try to get rid of them, they don't show. What am I doing wrong? Admin, can you fix this for me, please? Look below to see what I'm talking about.

Well, earlier there was some noise about images in signatures. Maybe the webmaster added some piece of code just to fuck it up. I'd like to have my own tiny banner too, actually

And as far as we know (?) there's no other admin but Jens here atm and he's got better things to do than fixing this stupid forum, right?

i personally hate images in signatures so i hope you would understand why it wouldn't be high on my list of priorities.

i'm "old-skool" enought to remember the 4 line .signature rule in usenet...

Usenet? Right, I'm too young, but my signature image was made for the very purpose, very horizontal and small image dammit! On the other hand I agree, the forum does work better without them. But hey, personality is always good! Would be nice if someone some day could write a forum code that would preserve like 50 vertical pixels for each post for a signature, to make the page load in the right shape even when the pictures are still coming up.

Generally, most web pages and forum designs just suck. Are the people who make these things retarded or is it really that difficult to be creative and practical at the same time?

The problem is, that gif images won't appear.

I just thought it was weird how the signature works in my PMs to other members but not on the forum as a whole.

Sorry you don't like banners in sigs Jens, but I wanted people to click on my banner and visit the site!
