How do you feel About Guns?
Exact case of someone with mental problems getting their hands on a gun. Textbook example. What a tragic waste of a young life

Re: How do you feel About Guns?
okay im too lazy to read ovetr the last 4 pages so i will jsut write what i think sorry if its alread been said...
I am pretty big on guns, I often go to a local shooting range with my dad its a good way to relax and spend some time with the old man I find. I really like surplus rifles because of the history in them. My favourite rifle is my 91/30 Mosin Nagant which if I read the markings correctly was used in both the Winter War and World War II
It really bothers me though when people do things such as blame guns when they are misused. Its something that i can not make sence of. The gun did nothing wrong, it functioned as it was produced to do. Its the person who activly pulls the trigger of the firearm taht is to blame. It would be exactly the same as saying that "The pencil is wrong because I mispelt the word when i wrote it". Or for another argument, what if I murdered someone by hitting them in the head with a brick, would that mean its the company who manufactured the bricks fault for the murder because they allowed someone dangerous to get ahold of their product or is it my fault for actualy takeing the action?
One reason i dont see much point to all the guncontrol in america is that it doesnt make a diffenrece. Across the bay form where I live is one of the most dangerous citys in America, Oakland. There is tons of shootings there and a enormous homocide rate from gun violence, even though Californuia has some of in not the strictest gun restirction laws in the country.
anwyas my point is yes they are weapons and dangerous in the wrong hands, but so is pretty much everythign else in the world. Thats just my stance though.

The whole point of the past 4 pages was saying that many crimes wouldn't have happened at all if there hadn't been such free and easy access to firearms. You very rarely hear of a murder committed with a spoon for example.

Exactly, as I said before there is as much freaks in other countries thain in the US but because there is no guns, no innocent 15-yo girl gets killed like this because of them (or at least far less). And besides it's funny, 90% of such stories happen in the US...NeonVomit wrote:The whole point of the past 4 pages was saying that many crimes wouldn't have happened at all if there hadn't been such free and easy access to firearms. Europe has a population of ~500 million.
USA has ~300 million. Compare instances of firearms crimes. Something is not right.
