Indeed.
Their commentaries were not so good (still better than the past few years with Ruckier or Carlier). The second speaker said about Lordi "Finland has never won the Eurovision contest, it's not that year with THAT stuff that they'll win". Ah, shame on him, stupid old fashioned people!
On the other hand, you should have heared the commentaries made by Bernard Montiel on TMC. The guy's a moron, he spend all his time telling bad stuffs about people. He knows nothing about music, all he can tell is "I wouldn't like to have the same haircut than him, he looks like he put his fingers to the power plug" or "she has huge breast, I'd be my pleasure to take some for my dinner".

However, I don't consider the victory of Lordi as the victory of Finland or as the victory of heavy-metal. Just the victory of people who enjoys rock and are tired to see those half naked big breast bimbos moving their ass on dance music. Then of course, in the second place, I'm just glad that it's Finland.

Wow, that was actually a surprise, but a nice one! It's nice that Finland got good points at least once in Eurovision. Lordi was so different compared to those dancer girls. Great! Even if it's still quite surprising; there were many good singers also, there were performanses that were musically better than Lordi, but still Finland won! I'm glad

My favourites were for ex. Ireland and Sweden.

Also, the 2 presentators of the eurovision, Drucker and the other one (i don't remember his name), they couldn't stop to criticize Lordi and their music. I'd say they can't stand to heavy metal!! Poor guys!!
I'm glad about this victory, and also for all the heavy metal universe!!

Maybe next year we could have some great bands like Manigance, Nightmare or Adagio for example, who could represent France!!

Actually, Star Academy or Idols is absolutely not the music that sells the most in France (u can check for ex how many copies of the Myriam Abel or Magalie something were sold). I'd say rap & hip-hop sell quite a lot.
What sells the most here is those "supposed to be singer" like Raphael or Carla Bruni, who can't sing at all (they "whisper") and have stupid lyrics.

They sucked, but like I said, it was not as bad as the ones we had the past few years, or as bad as Bernard Montiel.
Too bad they didn't keep the same speakers than for the Semi-Finale (France 4), because they were really good. One of them is Eric Jean-Jean, one guy who obviously knows much more about music than Drucker.

Some of you said "moderator", but if this is the real word for it, I think it's a really bad one. You know, a moderator is supposed to be neutral, not to say bullshit about bands they don't like, like Silke or Patricia said about the German and French TV Eurovision broadcasting.

Omg.. It was a nice surprise when I opened the TV and noticed that Finland had 60 points.. Awesome.. However I heard that at the after-contest (the party) Carola, who represented Sweden boycot it. "Her teeth hurt" It was too much for the Swedes that Lordi won-.-

I took the comments of him funny, i don't think he wanted to stab Lordi down.. In fact he took the result pretty cool, and the only thing he said to talk down other countries, was, that the singers couldn't sing.. And sorry, but in most cases this was just true..

Even the people from the Songcontest party afterwards, Hermann and the others, took it pretty cool, and made their jokes, but as they said, most of them were happy that Finland won, although Heavy Rock wasn't their favourite style of music..
Except that "broad", older woman, don't remember her name now, stabbed Lordi down, the others were quite peaceful..
