Totally true, but maybe they should make an EP just like DT made with "A Change Of Season", including this 30 minute song. What you say?

A double cd album would be cool too! Like 6DOIT!

Well, they finished the European tour yesterday, isn't it? Now there's nothing till april, and then august. (if nothing more appears).

I suppose that they will have a break now, I hope to see them around the forum too and that they bring us some news. And in some months, I hope they'll start the next album.

April? What do they have on April? I know on August is the WOA, but yeah, I really would like them to be around the forum.
And isn't Strato planing to finish the Polaris world tour with summer festivals and then begin with the next album? I read it somewhere :?

You can see it in the website:

April 10, 2010: Hellkatti, Sotkamo, Finland

July 2, 2010: Status Goes Festival, Forssa, Finland

August 7, 2010: Wacken Open Air, Wacken, Germany

January 24, 2011: 70000 tons of metal

And yes, they are planning to start the new record this spring.

+1, and I think everybody agrees with this. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Strato's melodic albums, but I guess it's time for a lil' change and make the next album heavier, right?

I don't think too heavy would fit TKs voice but a bit more kick in the guitar sound would do good.

Maybe if TK uses the voice as he did in "Gather The Faithful". There's nothing bad in experience another kind of sound, and I think Strato fans would like that too :)

Personally I'd go for a blend of keyboard and guitar and maybe do a bit of dream theater like experimentation while remaining true to their neo-classical roots.

As far as Timo's voice goes I never have any complaints but then again I tend to be bias :D

*Headdesk*.
Metallica is a thrash metal band. Heavy is not...

Indeed. I said heavy but not like Metallica: that's Trash, and Strato's Power. A biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig difference :)

Changing the sound of guitars, making them heavier. A voice similar to what TK did in "Gather The Faithful", different and darker lyrics.
Of course, I'm not saying the whole next album to be like that; in fact, I wouldn't like Strato to turn into something totally different we are used to. I guess they should record at least 1 or 2 songs like that, and the rest like we are all familiar with :)
